  Update (08/31/26): I fianlly receieved a call from the district manager. Based on our call, I feel that the severity of the issue was minimized and that the proposed resolution—a $25 gift card—does not adequately address the level of unprofessionalism and poor service I encountered. Unfortunately, given how this matter has been handled, I will not do business with AuoZone again. Update (08/20/26): Almost two weeks have passed since I reached out to customer.reviews@autozone.com about my poor experience. Despite multiple back-and-forth emails, I still have not received a call to discuss what happened at this location. It is evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this company. Original (08/11/26): Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. GIven one star only to post this review. I visited this location after purchasing a battery at another store that couldn’t install it due to being short-staffed. The first location even called ahead to explain that I needed an emergency battery installation. Despite this, the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome and was treated like a burden—even though there were no other customers in the store. Before I could even state why I was there, the employee cut me off and said they would not install my battery. When I asked why, she claimed the store manager said so. I asked to speak with the manager, but was told she was eating. When the store manager, Waleta, finally came out, she was visibly annoyed. She explained that due to the active thunderstorm, I’d have to wait until the weather cleared for the installation. Since I was in an emergency situation, I waited in my car for an hour and twenty minutes until the storm completely passed. When I went back inside and asked if they could install it now, Waleta bluntly told me, "Your battery is not going to be installed no matter how long you wait or how many times you ask," offering no further explanation. When I asked for the contact details for her superiors, she simply pointed to a sign near the exit. After leaving to find a third store, I tried calling the District Manager, Terry, but his voicemail box was full. I then called the Regional Manager, Jermaine, and left a message, but never received a call back. Ultimately, I had to visit a third location, where the staff politely and quickly installed my battery. In total, I spent over 3 hours driving across three different stores. I am sending a copy of this review to customer.reviews@autozone.com, though given my overall experience, I don't expect any resolution.

  The worst customer service I’ve ver had in a AutoParts store. The part I order did not arrive on time. After many visits they did not have a realistic answer for me. When I called asking for the status of the shipping, they let me on hold with no response. Not recommended, terrible customer service, does not meet client expectations, and responding to customer questions and concerns professionally low.

  Outstanding service every time I come to AutoZone! The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I get the right parts. They take the time to answer questions, explain options, and never make me feel rushed. The store is clean, well organized, and they usually have what I need in stock. Whether it’s batteries, brakes, oil, or just advice, I know I can count on them. I highly recommend this AutoZone to anyone looking for great customer service and reliable automotive parts!
