  Very good service from Jay. Very pleasant and had lots of knowledge as to what I needed for my Honda. If he could get 10 stars I would give it to him!!!! Excellent service!

  The new manager Jay is great. I have been going thru issues with my vehicle for 2 days and came in flustered but he made sure to stay cool calm and collected. Kept me distracted from frustration and got me out of there in a better mood and with good products. Much appreciated Jay! On a side note. That other guy with the locs..highly unprofessional. Ive never had someone not listen to the issue and keep wondering and asking why theres no man here to help me and how he wouldnt let his woman go nowhere and deal with car issues and all this other weird stuff..like sir your a manager to like can we focus on my question?? I dont think so im gone because your not even listening and why are you rambling about having a man what does that have to do with the issue im here for??

  Based on the reviews, they must have new staff. The best was Jay. Jay was awesome. I forgot cash for a tip! Bring cash to tip him! Guy at the desk tells me what windshield wiper size to get. Okay, no big deal. I don’t need them to break a sweat to show me. Then I ASK if it is a problem for windshield wipers to be different brands on driver and passenger sides. ( I want the more expensive ones but I am cheap so want to split the difference.) First the guy just ORDERS me to get two of the same and makes it clear he thinks it’s a stupid question (I google it and yes, it’s okay), then he laughs with the guys at me and corrects me saying “INEXPENSIVE” not cheap! “Customer is always right” he says sarcastically to a customer. (Huh? All I did was ask) I swear to you I did not talk back to the guy. Then the big guy taking my money explains with barely concealed contempt for my tech-stupid age there is never any way to bypass a pin for credit on a debit card. Green button I ask? Yellow? No, you can’t bypass a pin! 🤓 I’m like, who ARE these guys? Then with two of three doing something OTHER than help customers or standing around doing nothing, they make me wait in the heat for 20 minutes for Jay to change my blades for me because I’m not tall enough to reach on my car. No one else can help him help customers? Guess I’m okay with burning this bridge. Maybe it’s my age or race or gender that made them act this way. Maybe all three. Maybe just lazy and hate their jobs. The only one both kind AND working hard is Jay. IF I ever come back I will tip him. All I can do now is this review. He should get a raise.

  Jay was incredibly helpful (unlike the autozone up the road), hooked me up with a battery after diagnosing the issues mine had developed from sitting for a month and then installed my new battery for me

  Imagine not knowing your own store policy, let alone math, and arguing with the customer about a used oil limit. When bringing 3, 5-qt jugs of oil, I was confronted by whoever said they were "the manager" and told me explicitly that I could only bring one five-quart jug in, despite, as shown in the picture attached to this review, I can bring in 5 gallons. The individual who claims he was the store manager then rudely dismissed me and said, "Okay, just since you're here, do it, I ain't got time...." and that I couldn't bring my other jug in, which would finish off my 5 gallons. Then calling corporate to get some clarification on their used oil recycling policy. Also, do not know, does anyone Advance Auto know their own policy, or they just make it up every day? Thankfully, this will be the last time I ever shop at the store.
