  Here is why they get 1 star and why they lost me forever as a customer: -They got the toe value wrong on an alignment that they performed 8K miles ago and that mistake damaged my new, expensive tires. -When they performed that so-called “alignment,” I personally witnessed their employee use an air ratchet to tighten the lug nuts on my alloy wheels, and not a torque wrench as they state that their employees are supposed to use. -As a result of the premature tire wear, I brought the car in for an alignment check and a tire rotation. They gave me back my car after servicing the tires and the LOW TIRE PRESSURE warning light was on. I immediately told the service writer about it and he just shrugged and said “we moved your tires around and that caused the light to come on, so just drive it and it probably will go off.” Really? The light only turns on if it detects air pressure below the required amount and only turns off if the tire has the required pressure. It doesn’t just turn on or off if the tires get moved around. Instead of going out and checking the tire pressures or getting the person who worked on my car to do it, this supposed “tire expert” was too lazy and arrogant to do anything more than toss BS at me and hope I’d go away. -The real reason the LOW TIRE PRESSURE light was on was because they failed to check and adjust the tire pressures when rotating my tires. The correct tire pressures for my car are 32 lbs. front and 38 lbs. rear. After the rotation, the fronts were at 38 lbs. and the rears were at 32 lbs. This caused the TPMS to turn on the LOW TIRE PRESSURE warning light for the rear tires. -They took no measures to protect the interior of my car from the grime, grease and dirt on their employee’s hands and clothing. As a result, he smeared brown grease and black, sooty filth all over the light tan leather driver's seat and door handle and on the leather steering wheel and shift knob. I had to clean the seat as best I could with a napkin and hand sanitizer so that I just could drive it home without ruining my clothes. For a number of years, this place used to be OK and once, I even gave it a favorable review. I think that it has undergone a lot of personnel changes. I would no longer recommend it for tire service unless you are satisfied with: sloppy alignments that put expensive tires at risk of damage; use of an air ratchet to tighten the lug nuts on alloy wheels; careless work on tires that omits re-setting tire pressures after a rotation; having the interior of your car trashed by grease and black soot; and no ownership for addressing or fixing problems that they cause that activate tire pressure warning lights. There are a lot of tire stores in the area. This is not one that I will ever revisit.

  Just got fleeced today by this Mr Tire. I got towed in from a blowout tire on the nearby interstate. They charged me $450+ for a tire and mounting that most places charge about a $100 less but that's where the tow truck driver dropped us off. I then read the receipt (unfortunately after left) and found they charged me $23 for a TPMS valve stem that was never installed! On top of that was $40 in shop fees and another $40 for labor. That is why I normally use Costco and Sam's Club for new tires.

  The level of laziness and unprofessional attitude from these guys is shocking. First, when you call to make an appointment, you'll get some guy in south Asia. Why the shop can't answer the phone for this simple task is beyond me. Next, my husband pulled the wheels off of our trailer and dropped them off at the shop to have the new tires put on. No one offered to help him unload them. No one even held the door while he wheeled these in. This should be convenient for them-no vehicle in the bay, nothing taking up space in their lot, and we told them they can swap these out whenever they get to it. These jerks also didn't bother helping him load them when he picked them up. We're paying for a SERVICE, and that's the least they can do. He also watched the guy give an older lady attitude about fixing a flat tire as he was paying. She was the ONLY ONE there and he's whining about "well when we get to it..." Please don't use this shop. They clearly don't care about earning your business in the slightest.

  This place is a joke, first I called and set up the appointment for wheels and tires to be mounted and balanced i told them the size to be sure they were able to do them, they called me back and said they had no availability until the next day so I said thats fine I will drop off my wheels and reiterated the size of wheel and tire and they said it was fine. When I showed up to drop them off they watched from the counter instead of offering to even hold the door while I unloaded. Then 2 hours later they called me and tried to raise the price of mounting and balancing from 34.99 to 90 dollars a piece, I'm assuming they figured because they already had the tires in their possession I would just go along. I would never do business at this location

  I had an unexpected flat tire while traveling on I-340 near Frederick, MD, on my way back home to New York. After explaining my situation, the team at Mr. Tire on South Main Street went above and beyond to help me. They fit me into their schedule on very short notice and installed my new tire quickly and professionally. Everyone was friendly, understanding, and efficient. They knew I had a long drive ahead of me and made sure I could get back on the road safely without a long wait. I truly appreciate their excellent customer service and willingness to help a traveler in need. I highly recommend this shop!
