Bought a 2012 Lexus RX 350 under their 30-day dealer warranty. Within days the check engine and AWD lights came on and the vehicle began driving poorly. We took it back immediately. They first claimed it was the battery and replaced it. The lights returned and the car still drove horribly. They then suggested the alternator, and later said it was likely the transmission — an $8,000 problem. Under the warranty they refused to repair it and instead offered to move us into a different vehicle. We identified a RAV4 we were willing to take. The original purchase already included title, registration, and their VIP package. We asked them to structure a clean no-additional-cost exchange given that a major powertrain failure occurred under their own warranty and the significant inconvenience this caused. They refused. The general manager, Chris Prender, stated they would not absorb any difference or structure it as a no-cost resolution. Their final position was a full refund under a 5-day return policy and an immediate demand that the loaner vehicle be returned. While a refund returns the money, it does nothing to address the wasted time, the failed diagnosis process, the disruption, or the fact that a serious defect appeared under the warranty they sold us. They provided a loaner during the evaluation, which we appreciate, but overall they did nothing to make the situation right beyond the absolute minimum of returning the purchase price. No real effort was made to resolve the warranty failure in a fair way. I would not buy from this dealership again and cannot recommend them.

I would like to file a complaint regarding my recent service experience at Sheehy Toyota dealership. Yesterday, I brought my vehicle in for maintenance and also requested that my trunk light was not working so I need a replacement. During the visit, I was unexpectedly told that my trunk light had been replaced previously with an LED light and that it was not the original Toyota halogen bulb. That was making me confused because I never changed anything since I drove the car out this dealership. I explained that I had never replaced the trunk light myself and had no idea why it would be anything other than what originally came with the vehicle. The service advisor then informed me that replacing it would cost $146 because, according to them, the LED light was not an original Toyota part and therefore was not covered under warranty. I questioned this because I believed the repair should be covered under my vehicle’s warranty. I was told that it was not eligible because the light was “not original.” The service advisor then spoke with the Service Manager, who came to explain the situation. The Service Manager stated that Toyota dealerships do not provide LED trunk lights and insisted that the light installed in my vehicle was not an original Toyota part, so it could not be covered under warranty. After our discussion, the manager eventually agreed to replace the light at no charge. Although I appreciated that they waived the fee, the entire situation did not seem right to me. When I returned home, I had found the original window sticker/build sheet for my vehicle. It clearly lists “Trunk LED Light”as part of the vehicle’s factory equipment. This means my vehicle was originally equipped with an LED trunk light from the factory, directly contradicting what I was told by both the service advisor and the Service Manager. They could’ve search up my vin and check the equipment but they didn’t. I was told to pay $146 for the replacement at the first place, it’s their lack of responsibility. What really bothers me is that I was incorrectly informed that my factory-installed LED trunk light was an aftermarket modification and I was almost charged $146 for what should have been a warranty repair. I would appreciate an explanation as to why your staff incorrectly identified my factory-installed equipment and why I was initially denied warranty coverage. I also hope steps will be taken to ensure that customers receive accurate information in the future so that similar situations do not happen again. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

My sales person is James , Initially it looks all good however later I realize that the sales team always want to close dear as quick as possible and not giving enough time to customer to think more on what they can negotiate and ask more for the offers, once the dear closed they don’t pick up your call at answer, I realize that I have some complementary services from manufacturers not even car showroom and I try to get it but they don’t pickup my call or call back to ask what I am looking for , as I have bought EV car and I am eligible to get complementary Toyota charging adapter they did not provide that one further more I am also eligible to get offers on first year charging discounts that also they never mentioned over the deal disucusssion and now they totally ignore, to summarize I personally not recommend any one to go this place until you already done enough research and pre plan all your research before buying a car, if you think they will tell you all information that will not happen here , you have to be your own individual information and take all sedition with your information only, and last but  it lease that take your time to go home and think and research all necessary offers and discounts before closed deal once done you don’t have any choice

What a day! My girlfriend and I were not even expecting to get a car here. We originally just wanted to get an appraisal for our car, just to get a number of how much it would get. We weren’t even considering the idea that, our Subaru in mind was going to be here let alone our dream car, still a Subaru but not the one we were even expecting! All thanks to Javone! We looked around at many dealership for both appraisal and purchasing, no where else did we receive this level of consideration, comfortability, honesty and clarity the way we did here at Sheehy Toyota thanks to Javone Ware. He went above and beyond to help us out, he knew our price range, what we were working with, and our very low credit. With all of that he made it possible for us to get our dream car. He was the one who found our dream car! We told him we were looking for a used Subaru Forester, low mileage, newer than 2017, and reliable. He knew immediately what car to show us, and she was incredible. A beautiful 2019 Subaru Forester Sport. The whole process was smooth, easy, all of our questions were answered and honestly everything was fairly quick based on how long getting a car usually takes. Javone made it all possible. We are very grateful that we got him as our car salesman! 10/10! We recommend anyone who goes there to ask for him!

This was my third trip to this dealership, and unfortunately my experience kept getting worse. The first time I visited, I wasn’t satisfied with how things were handled, so I left. The second time, they called me back and told me to come in to complete the paperwork and leave a deposit for the vehicle. We had clearly discussed that I wanted an all-wheel-drive (AWD) model. However, when I arrived, they tried to prepare paperwork for a front-wheel-drive (FWD) vehicle instead. Because it was not the vehicle we had agreed on, I left. Then they called me again today and assured me the correct vehicle was coming. They specifically told me to come at 4:00 PM to leave a deposit. I drove an hour to get there, only to be treated disrespectfully. I explained that I was looking for two vehicles and had already placed a deposit for another vehicle elsewhere. Instead of being professional, the salesperson responded rudely and questioned why I couldn’t just buy from them and even made unnecessary comments about my family and my brother buying a car. I understand that selling cars is your business, and I respect that. But customers also deserve honesty, respect, and consideration for their time. Calling someone multiple times, asking them to drive long distances, giving incorrect information, and then speaking to them disrespectfully is unacceptable. After wasting my time on three separate visits and being treated this way, I have decided not to do business with this dealership. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Respect your customers’ time, be honest about vehicle availability, and communicate professionally.
