  DJ made my car rental experience quick and stress-free. He was friendly, professional, and got me in and out without any hassle. He explained everything clearly and made sure I had the right vehicle for my needs. Great customer service—definitely a 5-star experience!

  Rented a car on July 8, 2021for two weeks from the La Plata location. Upon returning the car I found an additional $500 charge for damages added to my bill. I returned to Enterprise and spoke with the manager who stated that I had scratched the inside of the passenger window. I asked to see the damage and she showed me scratches at the top third of the interior glass. I immediately told her that the scratches look like they were caused by whom ever removed the new car sticker using a scraper. The manager became loud and unprofessional accusing me of causing the damage. I left and said I would take it up with her supervisor. I was upset at the $500 charge; however, I remained composed and controlled knowing that this could not stand. I contacted the corporate customer service and they removed the $500 charge, and I thought all was well. I didn't know that the manager got her revenge by claiming that I was abusive then placing me on a Do Not Rent list. I received an email from the corporate Damage Recovery Unit that closed with, "Thank you for your business and we look forward to servicing your future rental needs," It wasn't until March 26, 2026, 5 years later, when I took my RV to the dealer in Ashland, VA for maintenance, and when I called an Enterprise location within walking distance. I was told that I could not rent from Enterprise due to the HOLD. I had to Uber to Richmond Airport to get a rental car from another company then drive home to Maryland. The Next day I returned that car to the airport and again Uber' ed to the RV dealer. After many calls I finally spoke with Jasmine who said she would not change my status. I asked to speak with Kelly a regional manager who never called me back. I am now filling a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General's office and the BBB.

  Absolutely terrible customer service. Had a reservation for a car, no one called to tell me they had no cars available and where to go so I wasted time going to la plata for a compact that insurance paid for and wouldn’t upgrade without me coming out of pocket. Will have to reschedule for another location but can’t get the rental as scheduled today when insurance is supposed to be fixing my car. Will not return or recommend La plata to anyone.
