- DHDan HJan 10, 20261.0I’ve come into this location multiple times since November. Every time I come in I constantly have issues with certain employees and the management team. This store is absolutely unprofessional and does not care at all about their customers. They will leave you standing around waiting for help. I’m also certain that a lot of the workers come in intoxicated. There is a worker who i’ve witnessed selling and using paraphernalia inside the store on multiple occasions! I’ve spoke to the field leader Naomi I believe and customer support but nothing was done I was just told to go to the police even after I sent them evidence.
- MRMae R.Apr 22, 20235.0shout out to the lady in the grey shirt. i saw a couple other people in black so idk if it makes a difference to know who i’m talking about. but i purchased a battery at another store that couldn’t get the battery out. 3 people tried at another store. i guess they just didn’t know how. i came to landover to meet a mechanic close to my house to have him do it but i stopped at this store just to see if they could do it so i wouldn’t have to pay someone. it took her 5 minutes! she showed me how to clean it and what posts to take off and put back on first and the best way to pull the battery out since it sits at a awkward position. i tried to give her a tip and she just smiled and told me no and to bless someone else. i don’t remember her name but she’s awesome. i’ll shop here from now on. thank you miss.

The place doesn't always have what I need on the shelf, common issue when working with European cars. By no means are these guys mechanics, but they have a love for cars and can make good recommendations on products and solutions. Thanks guys for your help. I will continue to stop by. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
