- TTTravis ThompsonJul 20, 20261.0I’ve been taking my vehicle to Pre4mance Auto for about three years, but after my recent experiences, I can no longer recommend this shop. Over the years, I’ve had the same issues return even after paying for multiple repairs, which has cost me a lot of time, money, and frustration. One of my biggest concerns is that I was charged for diagnostics that, based on my experience, did not appear to have actually been performed. Despite being a long-time customer, they were never able to properly diagnose the root cause of my vehicle’s problem. Communication has also been extremely poor. Recently, my mom stopped by the shop to check on my car and was told that the replacement part wouldn’t arrive until the next day. Just two hours later, I went to the shop myself and was told the vehicle was already finished. The conflicting information made it difficult to trust what we were being told. Another recurring issue is that repairs are often started without first providing an estimate or discussing the cost. Instead, the work is completed, and we’re simply expected to pay the bill afterward. As a customer, I believe it’s only fair to receive an estimate and approve the cost before any repairs begin. After three years of giving this shop multiple chances, I’ve lost confidence in their communication, transparency, and ability to properly diagnose and repair vehicles. I hope they improve their customer service and become more upfront with pricing and the work being performed, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Pre4mance Auto.
