I guess the clerk was new, he did not know how to perform the refund function. Had to wait for a another parts clerk. She was with other customers taking awful long time. She had an attitude with me opening the returned box and telling me it was installed already and its used. Told her how would I know if the pump is working correctly without installing it, and driving it. Never asked why am I returning the part? That should have been the first question she should have asked. It was worst customer service I have received. Never going back again.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
