  This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a rental car location. I walked in at 8:00 AM on May 6th as literally the first customer of the day and was immediately met with a negative attitude, poor customer service, and an overall feeling that I was inconveniencing the staff just by being there. The lady and man working at the front desk both contributed to the experience and made the interaction feel extremely unwelcoming from the moment I arrived. I normally rent vehicles a minimum of three times per month, so I am very familiar with the rental process and what professional customer service should look like. I already have a National rental profile, but because the airport location was closed before my flight landed, I had no choice but to rent from this Enterprise location. Instead of helping, they made the process unnecessarily difficult and even told me I could not rent a vehicle until I provided my employer information because they “needed to know where the car would be at all times.” Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. At that point, I politely asked for my driver’s license and Amex card back and decided to leave. No customer should feel disrespected or interrogated just for trying to rent a vehicle. The level of customer service reminded me of Spirit Airlines. That’s not a compliment. Because of this experience, I’ve actually requested that my organizations move our corporate rental contract to Avis instead. I strongly recommend taking your business to another rental agency that actually cares about customer service and treats customers with respect.

  10/10 highly recommend this location. Management, Corey and the rest of the team were amazing from beginning to end.

  I made reservations through my auto insurer. I was told that a car would be available at the site of the repair shop (my car was scheduled for a minimum of 7 days for body repairs) It was not! Instead, I was driven by a representative of Enterprise Rental Car in a Weed Smelling Infested private vehicle to an Enterprise location at 5810 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, Maryland. Although reservations were set by my insurer, (and feeling ill from smelling drugs for 15 minutes) I had to go through the entire rental process. And finally, after verbally assuring me of a 7 day agreement, I get an email denoting a 5 day rental agreement-ending at Sunday Midnight. Awful! Not even near One-Star!
