  Vee did a wonderful job! They were courteous, called ahead to let me know when they would arrive, and called when everything was finished. A great overall experience!

  We used Safelite in Frederick MD to replace a broken car window. We were able to get an appointment quickly, and they did a great job on time. But the real story was the people. Everyone there seemed to really enjoy working with each other, and Jay, who handled our job, was particularly delightful. Frederick is an hour drive from us, but we'll go there again if we need auto glass work because they were so pleasant to deal with!

  Safelite replaced my windshield and that was fine. However, there was no disclosure that they didn’t re-install 3rd party equipment; in this case a mirror. While I can’t prove it, the mounting bracket’s set screw was stripped and looked as if the tech pried it off! I spent an hour researching for a replacement bracket! I would suggest they call the customer before proceeding with the installation in these cases

  While I was parked a rock, apparently hit my windshield and caused a crack in two places. My insurance recommended Safelite. The appointment was set for the next day where I did the drop off service. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, Safelite revealed that the windshield that they ordered for me was scratched. I declined to have that one installed and they ordered another one. Unfortunately, I showed up for my appointment and the windshield had not arrived. They scheduled my next appointment when they were certain the windshield would be there. They worked with me to work around my busy schedule and got me in at the end of the workday. I was impressed with Camille, the Manager, she kept me informed of what was happening with my car.and I also spoke with a few of the other technicians while there. Each person was professional. Let’s face it, no one wants to have to replace their windshield, but when you have to do it, I trust this company And had a good experience.

  Scheduled my appointment first thing in the morning because I work nights. I left for the estimated 3hrs. I returned 3 hrs later and they had not touched my vehicle, citing a suppy issue with the windshield supplier. At that point, I had already waited 3 hrs without a call about the issue. At what point in that time period did they know they could not complete the job and decided to let me wait. The customer before me in line was complaining about a similar situation with multiple missed unfullfilled appointments. Their system is broken either the supply chain or scheduleing. Some customers will simply have their time wasted by this business. Read the reviews and look for better options. Don't give them an opportunity to make you a fool for trusting their guarantee. P.S. my windshield was installed next day by a local shop. The issue safelite the tech had cited about a missing windshield component halting installation was a lie. The shop that completed the installation confirmed that their was no "missing component" for my vehicle. It seems like the safelite people knew they could not complete my job and still let me wait.
