  My vehicle was at this shop for 2 weeks approximately. This was fine considering I had a rental. I was able to pick up my vehicle and upon arrival my vehicle would not start. I was told it needed to be jumped and be running for 20 minutes because of a recalibration. This was fine. I got the vehicle jumped and stayed there for 20 minutes while it ran. I am not sure why this wouldn’t be done and my vehicle was never tested prior to my arrival. The 20 minutes ended, I turned off the car and tried to turn it back on again and sure enough, it did not start. I went back in and was told that “since my vehicle had been sitting I am going to need a new battery as well”. I was very confused because they said it needed to run due to a recalibration (which was it?). My issue being if it was due to it sitting my vehicles battery should not die after 2 weeks (confirmed with Kia) and if that was the case, why was my vehicle not started frequently? It was not in my possession for me to do so. I refused to pay for the battery because my vehicle should have been running and exactly as it was prior to the attempted theft. They then said they had to put it through my insurance (AGAIN WHY WAS THIS NOT DONE PRIOR TO LETTING ME KNOW MY VEHICLE WAS DONE). Overall, terrible customer service. The lady at the front desk was WONDERFUL but the service people were condescending. I went through them because they partnered with Geico but was hoping to find a new shop in the area for normal wear and tear repairs. Unfortunately I will never be going back to this place.

  I came in for service after a car accident. Was given my car back with only half the work done. I had to take it back 2 x. After speaking with the manager he corrected it fixed everything that needed to be fixed. I appreciate him standing on business.

  Autobody Evolution -Essex did a very good job with fixing my truck and had it repaired and ready on the day they said it would be.
