  Friendly staff helped get me set up when I dropped off the car. They handled everything from the insurance side. Body work was completed and looks great and was ready ahead of time. They communicated well throughout the process with car status updates. Couldn’t ask for a better experience getting back bumper and collision repair work done.

  Not even one star-worthy. Do not recommend it at all. It's the first time I've left a bad review. My car was hit on July 16, 2026, by a lady who has Erie insurance. It’s a minor hit; it just needs to address the front door noise, paint peeling, and scratches on the driver's side from the front bumper to the back bumper. To save time, I selected Gerber Collision & Glass; the shop is close to my house and is also on the list of insurance companies that repair my car. That was the one in Ellicott City on Baltimore National Pike & Normandy Center Dr, the biggest mistake that I ever made. Gerber Collision & Glass did not treat me as a customer. They treat you like a beggar. When I dropped off the car on Jul.23, I went through all the details with Kim, who understood that the driver's side from the front bump, two doors, and back bump all need to be repainted. She told me not to worry; everything would be taken care of, and they would repaint and make sure all the marks and scratches would be gone. But it is not true. The shop called me on Jul.31 to pick up the car; the car still had scratches and white paint peeling on the driver’s side. Kim told me they would rework the car and make sure all the scratches and white spots would be gone. She also mentioned that white spots can be easy to wipe off. It sounds like I am crazy to ask to rework the spots that can easily be wiped off. I went to pick up the car on Aug. 10 after they informed me the car was “Ready” to pick up. I thought all the issues could be done at this time. But it is not. The car still has white spots and scratches. Crystal told me she is going to discuss it with Kim and make sure all the imperfection issues will be taken care of. I told her I cannot take off work to pick up the car after these two trips I took off; she agreed to arrange a delivery to my office when it is completed. They were going to call Enterprise to extend my rental car. I have no choice but to leave the car for them to rework. I was worried, so I called the Erice Insurance adjuster to make sure the Gerber shop would do the job correctly this time. They called again on August 24, 2026, to say the car was ready for pickup. I told them I could not take time off work, so they agreed to deliver it. They asked me to watch for the driver and meet him when he arrived. When I met the driver, he got out of the car and immediately demanded the rental car key. I told him I needed to inspect my car first, but he said, “Call the office. Give me the rental car key now.” His attitude was rude. He stopped insisting only after I explained that my belongings were still in the rental car and that I needed to move them into my car. I didn’t want to continue dealing with a rude person, so I gave him the rental key after removing my belongings. After he left, I inspected my car and found most of the white spots were gone, but some scratches remained. I also discovered that my seat pad was missing, along with five car wash certificates I had purchased from a local store and kept in the seat pad pocket. That cost $90, but after what happened, I don't have the energy to deal with it anymore. I didn't understand why this simple repair could take them a month, and the job still hasn't been completed. The insurance company pays extra rental money to support a workshop like Gerber Collision & Glass, and the customer must waste time and money dealing with it. It’s really a terrible experince.

  My car was repaired beautifully. It was washed when done. They even filled a low tire. Great job and nice to work with.

  Highly recommend Gerber for collision repairs. Staff is so nice and workmanship top notch. While I hope I don’t need their services again, should I, they’d be my first choice!
