I recommend AutoZone in Edgewood because of the excellent service I received from the representative, Joseph, who assisted me. He explained the battery options, checked me out, and installed my car battery quickly so I could get back on the road. He was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable—so much so that I canceled my pickup order at Advanced Auto across the street and bought my rotors and brakes from AutoZone. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this AutoZone location. After weeks of dealing with a battery warranty issue, I was instructed by the General Manager to return and work with the Assistant Manager, Joe, to receive the correct battery for vehicle. The battery was replaced with a Duralast Platinum at no charge. However, the very next morning, my car would not start. I had to call GEICO roadside assistance and have a towing company come to my home. The technician discovered that the battery connection had not been properly tightened during installation. After jump-starting my vehicle, he showed me the loose connection and advised me to return to AutoZone. I then had to make a second trip to the store to have another employee correct the installation. As someone who relies on their vehicle for a 45-minute commute each way, this caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and lost time. Between the warranty issues and the improper battery installation, I have lost confidence in the quality of service at this location and will be taking my business elsewhere.
