  I paid for a car (retail price) after providing my insurance and paid out of pocket, but that is not what ails me, even though that was negligent on your part. During this payment I was allowed to “tap pay” with no issues nor was told it was not allowed. When it was time to extend my rental I was told a “tap payment” is not allowed and was unable to extend. I waited for almost 45 minutes in the lobby to just be told no. No one is on the same page, only one, maybe 2 people were working, a new employee wouldn’t/couldn’t help me, and the miscommunication is in the Columbia location is just unbelievable. My car is in the process of being repaired and I was instructed to go through this specific location. I will never go back.

  Very disappointed with my Columbia MD McGraw Enterprise rental pickup experience on June 2026. I arrived at the rental location around 1:20 PM for my scheduled 1:30 PM Mini van pickup and was repeatedly told that the van was being cleaned and would be ready soon. After a lengthy wait, I was offered a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV instead. As I was leaving the lot, my son noticed damage to the rear bumper and a loose, partially detached tail light. He immediately brought it to my attention, and I returned to the parking area to report the damage before leaving the facility. When I returned, I was informed that the damage was already known and that the vehicle was considered safe to drive, but this information had never been disclosed before I accepted the vehicle. After additional delays and what I felt was unprofessional customer service, I was eventually provided with a van that had apparently been sitting in the lot the entire time. The replacement van also had dents and scratches, although I was told those were already documented. The inconsistent explanations regarding vehicle availability, the lack of transparency about vehicle damage, and the overall handling of the situation made for a frustrating rental experience.

  I recently rented a Chrysler Pacifica from the Enterprise location in Columbia, MD for a moving trip. When I returned the vehicle a day earlier than originally scheduled, the process was incredibly easy. I simply explained the situation, and a team member came outside with me to inspect the vehicle. The entire return process took less than 10 minutes. What impressed me most was Emerson, who was recently assisting at this location from another Enterprise branch. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. After the return was completed, I had several questions about vehicle maintenance, tire inspections, and how Enterprise keeps its fleet safe and reliable. Emerson took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and patiently, and I appreciated his willingness to share information without making me feel rushed. The vehicle was clean, drove well, and was exactly what we needed to complete a long-distance move. After several stressful weeks of moving my son out of his apartment, this was one of the easiest parts of the entire process. Thank you, Emerson, for your professionalism, patience, and excellent customer service.

  Lena provided a kind and professional demeanor during my visit when I inquired about renting a minivan for an out-of-state trip. She also assisted me with the mobile app and, although no minivans were available at the time, she mentioned that there was a possibility one might be returned before my departure. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, there were still no minivans available, so I began the process of checking out an alternative vehicle. During that process, Lena came running over to let me know that a minivan had just been checked in and that I could switch to it. Having the minivan made a tremendous difference for this trip. My wife passed away last July, and the purpose of the trip was to return family heirlooms to her family. The additional space and convenience of the van helped make this important and emotional journey possible. Thanks to Lena’s persistence, dedication, and commitment to outstanding customer service, I was able to fulfill all the needs of the trip. I am truly grateful for her efforts and the positive impact she had on this experience.
