  Buying a car here was a smooth experience, but the service department has been extremely disappointing. I called today after my Volvo essentially stopped functioning while I was driving and continues to malfunction—a significant safety issue. I was told the earliest appointment available was August 18 due to a "national shortage of technicians." Even after explaining the urgency, I was told to rent a car at my own expense until then. I immediately called Volvo Cars White Marsh. They tried to troubleshoot the issue over the phone, scheduled me for the first appointment tomorrow morning, and apologized they couldn't fit me in the same day. The difference in customer service was night and day. This also isn't my first issue here. Last year, I was nearly charged $500 for a warranty-covered repair until I pointed out that my vehicle was still under warranty. I'll gladly drive the extra distance to White Marsh for service in the future.

  Service is atrocious, nothing but a run around. No one calls back, no one has any information. Nothing but excuses, my advisor has been out all week despite daily calls telling me he will call back. The service manager is in a meeting every day and never calls back. The portal and text they send does not go to anyone and has no information. At this point i just want my car back so i can go elsewhere. Look at the 5 unanswered one star negative reviews below mine to see how this dealership operates.

  This is the place in the Baltimore area to take your Volvo for service! We were behind in taking our XC60 in for some lingering issues with the car. We scheduled an appointment for regular maintenance, but with Adam N.’s help as our service advisor, we were able to also tackle and resolve a list of items ranging from diagnostic issues to chipped parking sensors….in the same day! Adam was super communicative throughout the day’s service, and I would have been able to pick up my car the same evening. It was so great to have all of the tasks completed and resolved in the same day, and even better that Adam was able to maximize my savings by getting several matters covered through the car’s extended warranty. I went in fully expecting a potentially high total cost given some preliminary research of my own on the parking sensor issue, but left with a less than $240 tab. Further, when I hopped in the car to drive home, it was cleaned and vacuumed! This entire experience was a very pleasant surprise, especially for a new mom returning to work soon and about to spend more time commuting in the car. With no more warnings about my parking sensors, a mitigated lingering concern about an airbag issue, new wipers, a standard service, some minor preventative maintenance, and a cleaner vehicle, I am thrilled with the less than 12 hour experience this team offered. I had been taking my car to another dealer but will be returning here in a heartbeat! This team is the real deal. Thank you, Adam and all at this location!
