One of the WORST experiences I have ever had at a car dealership. I stopped by this evening on my way home from work and asked if I could just take a look at a Highlander hybrid model. Chad, who greeted me at the door very condescendingly looked me up and down and openly laughed at my request. I politely explained that I had been to a competitor this morning and was seriously considering purchasing there and I just wanted to see what Toyota had to offer. Chad then very condescendingly asked “who do you think you are that you could just walk in and see a Highlander?” Again, I politely explained, I understand that the cars you have are likely already sold. I legitimately just wanted to lay my eyes on one to understand what they had to offer that another competitor might not. He then proceeded to explain to me that “they have people on a waitlist for cars that Toyota has not yet imagined producing” and scoffed at me again. He explained the process of putting down a deposit and ordering a car and “look lady, no offense but if you decide not to buy it I’ll sell it in an hour.” Chad was literally going to let me walk out the door without any literature or specs or anything about Highlander- as if I for some reason upon his disgusting look over me from head to toe I was unworthy of such a vehicle. Why sir would I buy a car from you that I’ve never seen and you’ve told me nothing about ESPECIALLY if you are going to treat me like this? At this point I think my jaw must have hit the ground, because his much more practical colleague, Eric, rushed over to inform me that he did in fact have a sold Highlander on the lot that I could at least take a look at from the outside. He also went in and printed off all the specs for me so I would have something to compare things to. Eric is the only reason this review gets two stars. Chad gets absolutely 0 stars. I can’t believe that man has a job and perhaps he should keep his eyeballs focused on people’s faces. Disgusting experience. Would not recommend.

My partner came to get a car in February 2025 and unfortunately the sales man no longer works there. We negotiated to get a 2nd key made. It’s now a year and a half later with several attempts going to the dealer shop, emails and calls and we still don’t have a Key. Was told several times they would call Land Rover (which is less than a block away) to pay and take care of the situation. Now we have no key and was told we needed to stay on top of things. Sale was done and their end of the deal was not fulfilled.

**This isn't my first experience with this Center, but back when I did have my first experience, it was Bill Kidd's Toyota so I won't take that into consideration** I cannot say enough nice things about this particular maintenance center. The staff is friendly, professional and quick from the second you call to make an appointment until you walk out of the door after picking up your car. The facility is clean, there are waiting areas and a van service if you need a ride back to where ever you're going after dropping your car off. I am so impressed with the text messaging option to stay in touch with the center - not everyone is able to call during a work day - and especially the VIDEO that you get from the actual mechanic who worked on your car, who explains what he/she did. That's just wonderful! I want to take the time to mention Shannon Edge, a Service Advisor at Sheehy Timonium - Shannon remembered speaking to my dad about my Corolla Cross on Monday, even though I brought the car in on Thursday (3 days later) - she was very friendly, very efficient, was in contact with me as I'd asked and went above and beyond to take care of something for me that I wasn't aware of from the beginning. With so many places these days that have employees who do the absolute bare minimum and seem like they want to be ANYWHERE except at their job, Shannon and the rest of the Sheehy Maintenance team were truly a breath of fresh air. Oh, and they found and fixed the issue with the car, obviously :)

1 star because I can’t give 0. Warning- do not service your vehicle here and do not accept a rental from this company. My husband had to bring his truck in for an engine recall. He was told it would take 1 week and was given a rental truck. The engine replacement ended up taking 3 weeks and the dealership provided little follow up throughout the process. My husband reached out every time and was not followed up with during one outreach attempt. When my husband’s truck was ready, he returned the rental and asked the associate if they were going to do a vehicle intake inspection to look for any damages. The associate said “no, all good” and sent my husband on his way. My husband meticulously cared for the car while it was in our care. We both observed the car before it was returned - no damages. TWO days after the car was returned, my husband received a call that we were being charged for scratches on the hood of the vehicle to which my husband requested photos and didn’t receive photos until the evening the following day along with a repair statement, including multiple other small damages to the car— in which we were being charged for, all of which we didn’t cause. On top of all of this, the service manager was rude when my husband called to discuss the matter, unwilling to apologize for the delay in the service as well. The manager said he would submit the claim to their insurance — shortly after we received a claim from our insurance about the damages to which we are now fighting. My husband requested a copy of the demand to which the demand had added even MORE damages than we had been sent in the original statement. Previously, we had no issues with this location and serviced our Toyota here for 5 years. We will NEVER utilize any Sheehy service center or dealership ever again.
