  I was really inconvenienced by the issues that occurred, but the shop manager (Mr. Davon) was over and beyond accommodating! I thank him for his patience and kindness during this very frustrating process, but I made it through happy! This is the best Mr. Tire experience ever!

  My elderly mother's car was acting up this morning, so we dropped it off at Mr. Tire for a diagnosis. They quoted her nearly $500 for a battery replacement and said there "might be other issues," but they'd need to install the new battery first to find out. That was an immediate red flag. A quality battery runs about $200, and installation takes minutes. Quoting more than double that to a senior citizen, with vague warnings about unnamed additional problems, felt like a classic pressure tactic. We declined the service and took the car elsewhere. I'd encourage anyone, especially those with elderly family members, to get a second opinion before agreeing to repairs here.

  $135 oil change. Way overpriced for an oil change and filter change. In July 2026 135.71. they charge miscellaneous fee shop supply fee that adds up plus 4X their oil price. Nice crew but price wise it's a very very bad value.

  The Manager (Devon) was fantastic. Vehicle was “done” as promis. It had some minor communication errors causing a check engine light which was not on when I dropped it off. I cleared those codes prior to leaving the facility. I test drove the vehicle about 5 miles without issue. The day after, 6/19, I was driving to Royal Farms near my home when I noticed the air conditioner stopped cooling. It was blowing hot air at the traffic light just before turning. The AC got cool again as I moved up in the stopped traffic. When it was my turn to turn left the power steering stopped effectively locking my steering wheel. I narrowly missed a car turning in front of me. The power steering returned. I got fuel and opened the hood. I noticed a stream of coolant spraying on the belt and power steering unit. I checked the temp gauge. It was still in an acceptable range. I carefully drove the vehicle about home (2 miles without issue). I removed the engine air hose from engine amd air box. I found the upper radiator hose was rubbing on an engine pulley. It had worn o he on the hose causing coolant to spraying on the engine pulleys causing the belts to slip. The hose wasn’t attached to the fan housing as it was when dropped off. I also found a metal piece of shroud just laying on top of the radiator. I replaced the radiator hose and installed the piece of shroud. I would still use this facility to work in my vehicle. I’m sure an incident like this is not usual and any needed corrective action would be taken.
