  I scheduled an appointment at the NTB Capitol Heights location, and while the scheduling process itself was easy, my experience after arriving was extremely concerning. When I arrived on Thursday, July 2, 2026, there was a sign posted on the door stating that the location had no air conditioning and customers should drop vehicles off. Considering temperatures were over 105 degrees that day, I was shocked when I went inside and saw employees actively working under these conditions. The lack of air conditioning was not simply an inconvenience — it appeared to create unsafe conditions for both employees and customers. A service appointment that should have taken approximately 30 minutes ended up taking 3.5 hours. Given the extreme heat inside the building, it is hard not to wonder if the employees were struggling physically while trying to continue working in a potentially hazardous environment. Heat exhaustion and heat-related illnesses are serious, and no employee should be expected to perform at their best — or risk their health — under those circumstances. Additionally, when my service was completed and I checked out, I was never informed that the vehicle needed to return after 25 miles for a lug nut torque check. That is critical safety information that should have been communicated before I left the facility, especially since I drove more than 25 miles later that same evening. I only learned about this requirement the following day through an email notification. My concern is not with the employees at this location — they were doing their best under extremely difficult circumstances. My concern is with corporate leadership allowing both their team members and customers to be placed in this situation. Employees deserve a safe working environment, and customers deserve clear communication regarding vehicle safety requirements. NTB corporate should be addressing issues like this immediately. Allowing staff to work through extreme temperatures without proper climate control is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company’s commitment to both employee welfare and customer safety.

  I visited this NTB location about a month or so ago, and it was one of the hottest days of the year. The air conditioning was not working, and it was extremely hot inside the building. I was so concerned that I contacted NTB’s corporate office to report it because no employee or customer should have to be in those conditions. The Supervisor I spoke with assured me they would look into it. Now it’s July 2026, and every time I drive past this location, I still see the doors wide open, which makes me believe the air conditioning still hasn’t been repaired. If that’s the case, I find it very disappointing. The employees were doing their best, but they were visibly sweating behind the front counter. I felt so bad for them that I went and bought everyone water. While they appreciated it, water doesn’t solve the problem when people are working in excessive heat all day. In my opinion, it’s unacceptable for employees to work in those conditions, especially while servicing vehicles. Businesses have a responsibility to provide a safe and reasonably comfortable work environment for both their employees and customers. The staff I encountered were polite and professional, so this review is not about them. It’s about management’s apparent failure to address what seems to be an ongoing issue after it was reported. This location also appears to be in need of significant updates. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won’t be returning. I sincerely hope NTB makes this a priority not just for its customers, but for the employees who show up to work there every day.

  They did an excellent job on my Tahoe but this is to the owners management or whoever. These fellas were in there today working with no AC on an 105 degree day! Absolutely terrible. Yet they were so sweet and accomadating even offering me a popsicle. I was able to drop my truck off but I feel so sorry for their working conditions. I did see a young man trying to fix the AC but to ensure quality and no injuries get these workers AC pronto.

  I recently brought my Audi Q3 to National Tire & Battery for new tires and a full brake replacement, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mr. Musa delivered truly top‑notch, white‑glove service from start to finish. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to my concerns; especially since I didn’t want to be charged an arm and a leg. He took the time to explain every detail of the work my car needed, offered honest recommendations, and made sure I understood all my options. His transparency and expertise immediately put me at ease. Throughout the service, he kept me updated on the status of my car, which I genuinely appreciated. The entire process was timely, convenient, and handled with personal care that’s hard to find these days. Because of Mr. Musa’s professionalism and EXCEPTIONAL customer service, I’ll absolutely be choosing NTB again for all my future auto care needs. Highly recommend! Many, many thanks & God bless you!   First thing first! I specifically ordered front tires to be replaced and they did but they put new tires in back and old one front!? They asked me three times and still didn’t get it correct! Second i waited 3 and half hours to replace two tires, this is not normal wait time!!! third after two days my tire sensor was on front tire, and one of the tires was only 23kps! And last one they didn’t even balance tires correctly, on 65 my steering wheel was shaking like crazy!! I had to go to other shop and pay $30 to balance them and it took them 10 min. How is this acceptable!? I spent $450 to very low quality service and performance.
