  From scheduling online to completion of my windshield replacement, Safelite was EASY! The tech was wonderful. Very communicative and quick. I hope I won’t need Safelite again, but if I do, I know where to go.

  Extremely frustrating experience with Safelite. I scheduled the first available appointment for today 9 days ago and received calls every day for the past several days confirming that today’s appointment was still on. Then, this morning—on the day of the appointment—the shop called to say their technician called out and they had to cancel. I was told the next available appointment is another full week away and, despite the cancellation being entirely on their end, they were unable to accommodate me any sooner. I understand that staffing issues happen, but after waiting 9 days and receiving multiple confirmations that my appointment was happening, it is unacceptable to be left waiting another week because of Safelite’s staffing problems. If the company cancels an appointment at the last minute, they should prioritize getting that customer rescheduled—not make them wait another week for the next available opening. Very disappointed with the communication, customer service, and lack of effort to make this right.

  don’t go to the rockville maryland location. they are incompetent. do go to the bethesda location. they are excellent.

  Cancelled appointment even after I responded to VIN via text and had appointment confirmed via text. You call and get routed to website or automated systems that then don’t work.

  I recently had my windshield replaced by Safelite after a rock struck it while I was driving on I-95, causing a crack across the entire windshield. Unfortunately, this was the second time I've experienced this type of damage. I scheduled my appointment online, and the process was simple and convenient. I drive a 2025 Hyundai Palisade, and I was initially concerned that the replacement windshield would not match the original factory quality. I'm happy to say I was completely mistaken. The new windshield looks identical to the original, and the rain-repellent treatment was an excellent added benefit. I was also impressed that Safelite was able to perform the ADAS camera calibration on-site, eliminating the need to visit the dealership. That made the entire experience much more convenient. A special thank you to Technician John at the Bethesda location. He did an outstanding job with the installation. His workmanship was professional, meticulous, and efficient. The finished result is flawless—you would never know the windshield had been replaced. I highly recommend Safelite, especially the Bethesda team, to anyone needing windshield repair or replacement. Their professionalism, quality of work, and customer service exceeded my expectations.
