  Friendly and accommodating but got two tires replaced and one was flat by the time I drove off the property due to a faulty or incorrect air valve. I had to take the car for a replacement at a different NTB and after getting in touch with this manager they weren’t willing to comp my transportation. The McLean location also alerted me to a chunk missing from one of my existing tires that this location didn’t say anything about.

  Great service. Went to get new tires and get my brakes checked at the last minute, and received same day service w an appointment. Lonnie and Nigel were very professional and more than helpful. I've been looking for a place I can trust since I've moved to the area. So far, I think I'll stick w this place for standard service. It's good to find trust worthy mechanics and service. Definitely suggest this place

  I had a 2:00 PM appointment for a tire change, and this was an extremely frustrating experience. This location doesn’t have customer parking, so you either have to pay for a nearby garage or keep paying for street parking while waiting for them to get to your vehicle. That wasn’t even my main issue—I went to a nearby coffee shop and waited. At around 5:00 PM, three hours after my scheduled appointment, they finally called to tell me they were too busy and would not be able to complete the work that day. They gave me the option of bringing the car back the next morning or leaving it there overnight so they could work on it and have it ready in the morning. Because I already had a leak in my tire, I really didn’t have much of a choice but to leave the vehicle. Driving it back and forth unnecessarily would have been a safety concern, and by 5 PM it was also too late to realistically find another shop that could take care of it that day. I understand that shops get busy, but that is the whole point of making an appointment. If they knew they were running that far behind, I should have been contacted much earlier instead of being left waiting for three hours before being told the work wouldn’t happen. Very disappointing communication and scheduling. I planned my day around a 2 PM appointment and ended up having to leave my car overnight because they waited until the end of the day to tell me they couldn’t get to it.

  Absolutely terrible experience at NTB in Bethesda, MD. I had a $1,500 appointment for four new Hankook ION evo AS tires, balancing, and an alignment. My appointment was at 9 AM. I was told it would be ready around 12:30 PM, but when I returned, they hadn’t even started. I finally got the car around 3 PM. I specifically asked twice if everything had been completed. They said yes. It wasn't. 3 of the 4 tires were the wrong tires. I had to make multiple trips back to the shop, and each time there was another excuse: missing work order, wrong tires, no tires available, and then wrong tires ordered again. Even worse, I discovered that the alignment I had already paid for had never been done. They couldn't provide an alignment report, and my Tesla app showed the car had never been moved to the alignment bay. On the final visit, they still had the wrong tires. I eventually gave up and told them to install a matching tire. I also asked them to finally do the alignment. Now my car pulls to the left and the alignment is worse than when I brought it in. To top it off, they lost my original valve caps and replaced them with cheap plastic ones. This was a complete failure from start to finish. Too many mistakes, too much wasted time, and I was repeatedly told work had been completed when it hadn't been. NEVER coming back to NTB Bethesda, and I would not recommend this location. Check your tires and demand documentation before you leave. Don't assume the work was actually done just because they tell you it was.

  As a Bethesda native, my family and friends trusted NTB for more than 30 years. Never again. After NTB replaced all four tires on my low mileage (48k) 2018 Forester, in August 2025, improper tools, leverage, or excessive force apparently damaged a rear wheel bearing. By December, the resulting road noise had become unbearable and I returned to NTB. What should have been a one-day repair took five days: After replacing the ball bearing, NTB needed two days to determine that it had broken an ABS sensor, then three more to fix it. For three days, no one noticed the multiple safety-system warnings displayed when the car was started. I also discovered that NTB had inflated my new tires to 56 psi—86% above Subaru’s recommended 30 psi—putting my family at an unacceptable risk of a blowout. My trusted mechanic has now replaced both rear wheel bearings. A year after buying those tires, I hope I’m finally done paying for NTB’s mistakes. This is not the NTB we once trusted. In my experience, its workmanship is incompetent and dangerously careless.
