Didn’t have the tires I ordered online. Phone call and text message to confirm appointment. Called after I dropped my
Car off and did an upsell. Make sure yoh ask about alignment cost along with mounting and balancing. Price will most certainly double
I got a flat tire and fortunately I was near the shop and the staff took care of me immediately. The staff was very friendly, honest, and helpful. If I need a tire fix again, I would definitely come back to this specific location.

This team is extremely professional, friendly and offers a great service at a great price; this is the second time I have had to use them in two years, and we had same-day service and excellent results, Not withstanding it being Sunday. We dropped off the car at 10 and had it back by 3.

I’ve been bringing my car to NBT Tires for the past few years, and I’ve consistently had such a positive experience. As a woman, dealing with car repairs can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when you don’t know whether you’re being told you need something you actually don’t. I have never felt that way here.
They’ve always been honest, kind, and straightforward with me. I genuinely feel like they care about making sure I’m safe and that my car is taken care of, rather than trying to sell me services I don’t need.
Most recently, I brought my car in because I was concerned about a possible oil leak. They took the time to put it on the lift and check everything, and when they didn’t find a leak, they were honest about it and recommended that I have the engine evaluated by Lexus instead.
After coming here for years, I trust them and always feel comfortable bringing my car to them. As a woman, having a shop where I feel respected, looked after, and confident that I’m being treated fairly means a lot. I highly recommend them!

Good workmanship, bad communication.
I took my car in for a number of items, including 2 new tires. They didn’t have my OEM tire in stock, but helpfully walked me though picking a comparable Goodyear tire. They also recommended a wheel alignment. I initially agreed, but then declined.
Got a call a few hours later informing me that all 4 tires needed replacement. No problem. He also recommended suspension work and new wipers. I asked follow-up questions, and they were upfront about the fact that the suspension recommendation was only based on milage, not visible wear, so I declined that. The alignment was brought up once more, but I again declined that. I was quoted “$350 + tax” for the battery replacement.
Yet, when I arrived for pickup, I was surprised to learn they had still performed (and charged for) the alignment. After some haggling, they agreed to comp that charge.
The quote for the battery, it turns out, was just for the part, not labor. That was my second surprise.
The final surprise related to the tires. When I got home, I found out that 4 new tires were from a brand that no one has ever heard of: Blackhawk. From what I can tell, it’s a Chinese company that retails primarily at Walmart (which charges half the price as what I paid at NTB). The tires rode well on the drive home, so maybe it will be fine? I have no idea. The other repairs were done successfully.
Overall, I’d say if you want a mechanic that gets things done quickly, correctly, and with only modest upsell, this is your place.
However, if like me you’re primarily concerned with good value, clear communication, reasoned explanations, and no unexpected work, prices, and parts, I would look elsewhere.
For me, the triple surprise of an unwanted alignment, an incomplete battery replacement quote, and 4 unexpected tires won’t have me returning.
