I was supposed to pick up my car today at 12 they called me at 8 in the morning saying they want to confirm the $300 deposit and that a credit card was being used. Called them back confirming it, when I spoke to the agent he tells me that the call was to let me know they weren’t going to have a car for me. HOURS BEFORE MY PICKUP TIME. I leave for vacation tomorrow. No car and no other solution. He transferred me to a reservation specials who said they were going to call me within a few hours. Still waiting for that call. Now I’m trying to find a solution with less than a day to figure it out. Please let people know in advance that you don’t have cars available, if i would have known at the beginning of the week I would have probably understood and had enough time to find a solution. Sadly, I won’t be coming back for future car rentals. We understand it’s just a reservation and it can’t be guaranteed but to notify 4 hours before we were supposed to pick up our car is not right.
