This was my second time purchasing a BMW from BMW of Catonsville, and once again, it was an outstanding experience. Nader was professional, responsive, and took the time to find the vehicle that was the perfect fit for me. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Melanie thoroughly explained all of the new features to ensure I felt comfortable and now I feel like a pro. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and attention to detail. I highly recommend BMW of Catonsville and especially Nader if you're looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated salesperson. I'll definitely be back for my next BMW!

I recently purchased my BMW from Ron Ventura at BMW of Catonsville, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Ron provided outstanding customer service. His communication was detailed, timely, and professional, and he consistently followed up to make sure every question I had was answered. What really sets Ron apart is how well he listens to his clients. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and presented several great options that fit my wants and needs without ever making me feel pressured. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure his customers drive away in the right vehicle. I also want to recognize Mark Sunn in the Finance Department. He made the financing process smooth, transparent, and stress-free. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made what is usually the most intimidating part of buying a car incredibly easy. Thanks to Ron and Mark, this was by far one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. I can confidently say I'll be returning to Ron for my next BMW, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional service and a team that genuinely cares about their customers.

Mr. Nakia Spencer was extremely knowledgeable and made the entire trade-in process smooth and stress-free. He kept me informed every step of the way and was always communicative and professional. I truly appreciated how easy he made the experience. I highly recommend BMW Catonsville, and if you’re looking for outstanding service, be sure to ask for Nakia Spencer!

This review is based on an interaction I had on the side street of the dealership this morning by a Client Advisor named Ron Ventura. I was pulled on the side street and he proceeded to pull next to me and rudely tell me the lot and area I was pulled over in belonged to BMW. I informed him I was pulled to the side closest to the building with my hazards on due to an emergency, as he pulled off with an attitude. I researched and it states "BMW of Catonsville does not own the public side street connecting it to the main road. That road is a standard public right-of-way that provides access to the dealership and adjacent properties." I really resent the fact that he felt himself entitled to bark orders at me like he owned BMW and I will not refer people to people like him in the future. He really did a poor representation of the company standards in which I know in the past are extremely high in professionalism and courtesy. I do believe upper management needs to have a conversation with him due to his lack of knowledge and respect for others as he was clearly representing the company at the time of the incident.

I’ve been using this dealership to service my bmws for almost a decade now. There have been some good things but unfortunately a lot of bad. Currently I’m shocked at how bad their customer service has gotten thanks to them using an ai program to answer calls. This past Monday I called at 2pm and the ai couldn’t tell me if the business was open, wouldn’t let me speak with any human being no matter what prompt I gave it, and just kept telling me to make an appointment. So I did what the ai told me to do and made an appointment for Thursday. It’s now Thursday, I brought my vehicle in and the people here say they have no record of my appointment or me ever calling. This is really bad customer service, a luxury brand choosing to use an ai that won’t let customers speak to a human being, and even worse an ai that lies to customers letting them make an appointment but then never actually scheduling that appointment with the service department. I am going to have to waste my own life calling bmw corporate to figure out why the appointment wasn’t scheduled and how to make appointments in the future knowing that the ai will take you through all the motions and tell that your appointment is scheduled just for it to never even be communicated to the dealership. Another strange thing this dealership did is try to have a salesperson drill a hole in my front bumper to install the license plate mount. I told them I wasn’t comfortable with that because my 2025 x1 has the top technology package meaning sensors and cameras all over. I explained to them that I don’t feel safe letting a salesperson drill into the bumper. I told them that I would like for someone licensed and certified to work on cars to drill the holes into my bumper and they made me out to be wrong and made it seem like it was too much for me to ask that the person drilling holes into my bumper be a service tech who is licensed, certified, and insured in case something goes wrong. This is crazy to me, I can’t imagine why anyone would think having a salesperson drill holes into my bumper would be a good idea. Imagine if the salesperson made a mistake and damaged my sensors or mounted the plate wrong? How would I even get compensation? Having a salesperson do what is essentially body work makes both the service and sales department look unprofessional and poorly trained. I’m no expert in cars but I know that I’d rather have a licensed tech drill holes into my bumper than some salesperson in a suit who doesn’t even work on cars. Another weird thing that happened today is that I asked the service guy if he could confirm that this x1 that I bought in Va had fresh tires and brake pads. I’ve heard of cheap auto sellers tossing on used tires and pads to save money and banking on the customer not checking. At first when I requested this the service guy told me it would take two hours to figure that out. I said wow it really takes that long to do something so simple? And he said yes. Then I said ok I guess I need to leave a negative review and all of a sudden that same guy gets up and goes out to my car. It took him 40 seconds to confirm the info I requested. He was able to confirm that the tires and pads were fresh without even kneeling down. That’s another thing that causes a customer to lose confidence. How can something as simple as confirming the tires and pads are fresh take 2 hours unless the customer threatens to leave a bad review and then it only takes 40 seconds? I really hope they fix their ai phone program, I really hope they train their receptionists and sales people to avoid trying to do body work on cars, and I really hope they can be more transparent with simple requests like a visual check on tires/pads. BMW is a luxury brand with luxury prices, if they can’t provide bare minimum standards of customer service that’s a huge problem. Most customers want to be able to speak to a human being when they have questions about their auto maintenance.
