- MLMarcia LucasAug 23, 20261.0Matt the manager was so rude and horrible to me. He does not have compassion. I told them the make and model of my car to order a part which they ordered and somehow the part did not fit my vehicle after I gave them the make and model. The part had a defect this man told me he would not refund me or switch the part. Which I then asked for customer service and he told me it doesn’t matter if you call them, they will do nothing but call him and he going tell them the same exact thing. I was pissed and out of $165. It wasn’t even about the money it was the fact that I trust them with ordering a part and it was a defect and I didn’t get any compassion or apology I was basically shut down. I will never ever visit this store again!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
