- KJKenika JenkinsMay 6, 20265.0Sunday 5/3, I came here for an alternator when I walked in there was a bit of a line and I debated on leaving and going to another store but it was cheaper as here than other stores ( I've bought one here in the past ) so I decided to wait while in line I heard someone in the front ask him "are you here by yourself" and he kinda smiled and said yes. When it was finally my turn ( the wait was not that long at all) he handled it with grace and was still super polite and efficient, after he found my part and I paid I let him know he was doing a great job and good luck!! If I remember correctly his name was Carlos. Im sure others that were in the line can say the same. I say all this to say that I'm happy I waited and great customer service is still out there, even when it's one employee dealing with a rush. I used to work in customer service ( I know how hard that can be) so regardless whether his colleagues called out or his boss left him or whatever the circumstances were he was handling it beautifully! Props to him!

I walked in and I made my way to the counter the store manager started to walk away and I caught him look at me from the corner of his eye as he continues to walk away. This store has lost a customer for life! Go see Angel at O'Reilly's! This is where I'll be setting up my business account No thanks on the offer and you will not be seeing me again 👎

I wish this George guy I see in the reviews were there because whoever helped me was unprepared and chose to not help me with my battery installation. I kept the battery to avoid another headache returning it. Ended up paying another business to install the battery. Needless to say I won't be doing business with AAP anymore and I definitely won't recommend this location.

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
