⭐ 1 STAR — Extremely Disappointed With Safelite, Especially the Woburn, MA Location This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have had, and I would NOT recommend the Safelite location in Woburn, MA based on my experience. My original appointment was scheduled for a Saturday at my home. The technician arrived, stayed for about 10 minutes, and then told me he had to leave because it was going to rain and they could not replace the windshield in the rain. The problem was it was sunny and it was not raining. I went outside and asked why he needed to leave when there was no rain. He told me he had “felt a drip.” Since the Safelite shop is only a few minutes from my house, I asked if I could simply bring the car there so the work could still be completed. He told me the shop closed early on Saturdays. I called customer service and complained, and they were somehow able to arrange for the SAME shop to take my car that afternoon. The shop actually closed at 5 PM, not as early as I had been led to believe. They replaced the windshield and left my key in the car because I picked it up after they had closed. When I got to the car, I immediately noticed that my Massachusetts inspection sticker had not been put back on the windshield, and the windshield/dashboard display in front of me looked blurry. Because they were closed Sunday, I had to drive without my inspection sticker. When I called Monday, I was then told that I needed to bring the vehicle BACK because the windshield calibration had not even been completed on Saturday. I also asked about my inspection sticker. They later called and told me they had found it and that I could come back to have the sticker replaced and the calibration completed. So once again, I took time out of my day, returned to the shop, and waited approximately 40 minutes while they supposedly calibrated the windshield. When I got back into my car, the display was STILL blurry. I went back inside and brought it to their attention. That is when I was told that they would need to do a warranty replacement because they had installed the WRONG windshield for my vehicle. That means after all of these appointments, phone calls, inconvenience, and driving around without my inspection sticker, I found out that the original windshield they installed was not even the correct windshield for my car. They then scheduled another appointment to replace it at my workplace, with an arrival window of 8 AM–12 PM. I waited. Noon passed. 1 PM passed. I called customer service, and they attempted to contact the local shop. I was told that no one at the shop answered their call, so they sent them a message asking someone to contact me. It is now well past my scheduled appointment window and I have received no call, no update, and no technician. At this point I am beyond disappointed. One problem would be understandable. But this has been problem after problem: a technician leaving because of rain that was not happening, incorrect information about the shop hours, my inspection sticker not being replaced, the calibration not being completed, multiple unnecessary trips back to the shop, the WRONG windshield being installed, and now a missed appointment with absolutely no communication. I have lost hours of my time dealing with something that should have been handled correctly the first time. I will also be filing a formal complaint with Safelite regarding how this entire situation has been handled. I expected much better from a company this well known. Extremely poor communication, poor quality control, and a very disappointing experience with the Woburn, MA location.

Great communications throughout the process. Very thorough and detail oriented. Re-attached my transponder with fresh tape, re-attached my inspection sticker, checked the new glass for any scratches. Truly excellent experience.

They were horrible :( they broke my charger that was in my car today and didn’t say anything. Not even a heads up that they did that, let alone an apology. Moved all the mirrors, seats, there was water that came out of my trunk after?? My appt was for 2pm they didn’t start on it until 3:30pm even though that’s when he said they’d be finishing and on top of that it was freezing in the waiting room. Please go elsewhere!

I was told on the phone they would give me a coupon for $30. They did not and charged me $490. The glass did not fit the back correctly twice turning a 1 hour job into a 3.5 hour job. Disapointed to say the least.
