- DDDaveSep 27, 20265.0Last Friday I went Whitinsville store to by wiper blades for 2015 Volvo . Young guy sold them to me . It was raining and another guy came out to ask me if I needed help. I said yes. He told that certain blades will only work because of wiper bracket. He went back in to get correct ones and both guys put them on for me. Great employees !!! Thank you!

I asked if they could run a test for me which they did and found out it needed to be replaced. The boss, unfortunately I didn’t get his name, was super friendly and helpful and had me out of there with a new battery in no more than 10 minutes. 10/10 would recommend if you need a need battery in a rush.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
