  Today I went into Valvoline, where I always get my oil changed. I’ve been going there for years, and they noticed that I had a flat tire once I entered the bay.I must have just gotten it because I was driving all morning and everything was fine. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have a spare, but Lisa, the general manager and her crew in West Roxbury Massachusetts worked for an hour to pull out a nail that was lodged in my tire and they plugged it. They were extremely friendly and would not accept another credit card payment. I highly recommend them. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I had no specific Garage to go to and they just saved the day. I was just over the top appreciative. I have always praised this Valvoline location in West Roxbury but after today I will always be highly praising them Thankyou Lisa and Crew. I am so appreciative and grateful . You really do treat your customers like family Maryann Uhrig

  I used to love this place, but it has recently gone downhill. During my last oil change, my tires were inflated to 42 PSI when the requirement is 32 PSI (35 PSI max). The next day, while on a road trip, my car alerted me that the tire system was failing. I pulled into the nearest gas station to check my tires, only to find that they had been inflated to 42 PSI. After releasing the pressure down to 32 PSI, my car was fine, and we were able to continue our trip. ​Today, I pulled into Valvoline for an oil change. I sat for a half hour while my AC was being checked, as I had requested. However, my cabin filters were not checked. The only thing shown to me was my oil, and I had to ask for my tires to be inflated. Once again, instead of checking the vehicle requirements, the woman who is supposedly the manager just inflated my tires without verifying the proper levels. I checked the tire inflation via my car’s system, and once again, they were all inflated above the required PSI and were all different. ​After asking for the corporate phone number, a nice gentleman came over and proceeded to deflate the tires to the required levels. The manager has an attitude problem. My filters were not checked, nothing was inspected, and I will be reporting this to corporate. Oil changes are not cheap, and no customer should be treated this way.
