After dealing with a clicking/clunking noise on my 2020 Toyota Camry for almost a year, I can confidently say Wellesley Toyota has the best service department I’ve experienced.
I had taken my car to multiple Toyota dealerships and independent shops over the past year, but nobody was able to diagnose the issue. I kept getting generic answers like “it’s probably the brakes,” yet the noise never went away. It became incredibly frustrating after spending so much time trying to find the actual cause.
The experience at Wellesley Toyota was completely different. My service advisor, Guillermo Arnal, was professional, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the entire process.
What impressed me the most was the technician’s approach. They didn’t just tell me what they thought was wrong—they test drove the car with me to experience the exact noise, then brought me into the shop, put the car on a lift, and physically recreated the problem right in front of me. They showed me the failed component, explained why it was making the noise, demonstrated how it was supposed to function versus how it was actually behaving, and took the time to explain what the part does and why it had failed. That level of transparency and professionalism is something I’ve never experienced at another dealership.
They diagnosed an internal failure with the driver’s side CV axle and hub/bearing assembly, completed the repair under warranty, provided me with a complimentary loaner vehicle, and had my car repaired by the very next day.
Best of all, the noise is completely gone. After almost a year of chasing this issue and getting nowhere elsewhere, it’s a huge relief to finally have it diagnosed correctly and repaired.
Thank you to Guillermo Arnal for the excellent customer service and communication, and to the technician for taking the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of guessing. Wellesley Toyota has absolutely earned my trust, and I won’t hesitate to bring my vehicle back in the future.
William was awesome! Our old car from another make died just days before our planned trip to a friend's wedding anniversary and then to Six Flags Great Adventures in New Jersey. We bought a Crown on a Friday afternoon. We were going to cancel the trip thinking we wouldn't have the car in time. But William heard about our plans and pulled a rabbit out of his hat and we got the car Saturday morning. We made the wedding on Sunday and are now enjoying our dinner vacation! Purchased my second vehicle from Toyota Wellesley this month. Specifically John Imparato in sales was great to work with responsive to emails, texts and calls. He helped me with my previous purchase there and again was very well informed about specifics for the different motors with regards to year to year and used versus new toyota model comparisons when I went to add another toyota to our fleet. The service center is the best I have ever worked with for my previous land cruiser. I would strongly recommend the dealership for anyone looking to buy a new car or shop for a used Toyota. They know their business and value their customers.
Buying a car for my mom was stressful, I’ve been to many dealers in my life and there isn’t a dealer like Wellesley Toyota. Alex explained each button and feature, then gave us pricing with a discount already. I never even asked for one yet! This made me and my mom feel comfortable! In the finance office, Mark welcome! Funny name! Helped me go over my warranty options and again. After visiting many dealers the prices were more than fair! I ended up getting an extended warranty for my mom’s car and she is so happy. I used to dread the car-buying process due to many negative experiences and hours spent at other dealerships, but Wellesley Toyota completely changed my perspective. Buying my new 2026 Toyota 4Runner here was truly the best experience I have ever had, thanks to Lucas and Mark.
Life is busy and stressful, but they made the entire process smooth, quick, laid-back, and genuinely enjoyable. There was absolutely no pressure—just honest, helpful advice that made the transaction stress-free. When it came time to finalize the paperwork, the finance team was completely transparent. There were no hidden surprises or last-minute fees.
