- RERachel EmelockJul 11, 20265.0I had a massive crack on my windshield. Safelite’s online scheduling system was easy to work with and connected with my insurance. Day of the appointment, I was seen to quickly and given a good estimate of how long the work would take. (It didn’t take that long at all!) I waited at the location. It’s nothing special but there is AC, WiFi and a table to work from, and a comfy couch. Staff were super friendly and professional. Answered questions from both me and everyone who came in after me with clarity and patience. Will definitely go back (hopefully not soon). Also! They were awesome making sure all my stickers were put back on my windshield - super awesome!
- GKGregg KamosaJul 9, 20261.0My car was returned to me with my mirror tap no longer working and (after 2 additional appointments where no effort was made) they refuse to even try to fix it. The only thing we established in the 2 additional appointments was that, yes, they disconnected it, and, no, they will not reconnect it. So now it’s up to me to pull everything apart again and try to reconnect it. This is my 3rd windshield on this car, and I’ve never had a company refuse to simply return the car in the condition that they received it. Won’t make this mistake again. Edit to add: The owner responded that I can bring the car back. I have. I’ve been there a total of three times, and I just get quizzical looks and ‘sorry about that’. If you’re going to disable a function of someone’s car and then refuse to fix it, you should tell them up front.
