    Salim, the manager, made the difference in my rental, as he lent me the cord needed to hook my phone up for map apps in the car. His associates were easy to talk to, helped me pick out the car, and gave me a ride to my hotel nearby afterward. I am grateful for their easygoing and warm approach to their work.

    The representative I worked with was, perhaps, one of the worst Enterprise reps. I have met. I reserved a full-sized SUV. He stood there for five minutes explaining to me that a Ford Escape was an upgrade and that he was not going to charge me the difference. I asked him to put the rental on my Enterprise Plus account. He assured me he had done it. When I checked back later, it did not appear on my membership record. When we went to close out the rental, I was out of state. He called me and left a message. When I called back, he did not come to the phone. They recorded my number and said he'd call back. He never did. I had to call back again. He immediately stated saying he was trying to call me. Perhaps he has forgotten that phones record incoming calls. This is my first experience like this with Enterprise. I have always found their representatives honest and helpful. This trip was just different. 2 of 3 reps told me they were doing things they clearly did not do. I hope this is not a trend.

    Friendly staff who got me in a car and on my way fast. The vehicle was newer, clean, had no odors, and drove fine. This location is a subway ride from Boston South Station If you take the red line.

    One of the WORST experiences with a car rental company. I booked a car for my boss several days ahead at this location. I was assured that they could dispatch a car to her nearby address to pick her up without an issue (one way rental), and I just needed to call ahead on that same day to confirm. I did just that, and first they couldn't find my reservation. Minutes later after they finally found it, I was told I had to call the Enterprise closest to the address to request dispatch. I did. Then I was told that this branch (Dorchester Ave) they don't or couldn't dispatch any cars to my address, they also couldn't find my reservation (I had checked in online and it wasn't appearing in their system for whatever reason). So I called the Freeport Ave branch again, and they said to call the other branch back because they're able to dispatch cars. Basically I went back and forth between the two branches and neither could give me a concrete answer even though I had CONFIRMED AHEAD OF TIME. Then I called Enterprise Headquarters and they put me on an emergency list to have a car dispatched to my address (supposed response time was supposed to be near-immediate. I NEVER got a call back). Finally, two hours later, my boss had me re-do a reservation at the Dorchester Ave branch, had to order a Lyft there spending extra money because by then it was much too hot to walk and she had perishable food. Once she got there, there were two people there (the lady had told me she was the only one there which is why she couldn't dispatch any cars), but my boss still had to wait 20 min to pick up her car. It was the most ridiculous run-around that I have ever experienced with a car company. Then, to top it off, once she arrived to the other branch in Rutland to drop it off, no one was there to recieve it (she had not been informed of closing time either or return process), so she left the car in the designated spot and put the keys in the box. The next day, an agent in Rutland calls her and tells her there's a watermelon-sized dent in the bumper and she is responsible for the car until an agent checks it in (again, no one had informed her of this). Good thing she had taken a video but even then the agent claimed there was a difference even when there wasn't. I don't think we will be using Enterprise in the future. Too many promises they did NOT make good on.
