  Quality of the actual work is as good as you would expect, but they push for doing total system replacement and that gets expensive fast.

  I went to Sullivan for a state inspection and was rejected because the corner light on my driver’s seat was out. Fine, things happen. What absolutely pissed me off was how they handled the situation afterward. I asked if I could replace the bulb myself and simply buy the bulb from them. They refused to sell me one, even though they were perfectly willing to change it for me for a $6 bulb plus $35 in labor. Why wouldn’t you sell me a $6 bulb? It was obvious they wanted me to pay the labor fee instead of allowing me to do a five-minute repair myself. I went somewhere else, bought the bulb, and changed it myself. I came back at 11:00 AM and asked for my reinspection. They told me they would “try” to get to it. Apparently, “try” means making someone wait until 5:30 PM for a reinspection that took approximately five minutes. The whole thing felt completely intentional. It was hard not to feel like they were punishing me for refusing to pay $35 in labor for something I was perfectly capable of fixing myself. A reinspection is supposed to be for the item that failed—not an excuse to make someone sit around for an entire day because they didn’t take your overpriced repair service. I wasted an entire day because they couldn’t be bothered to do a five-minute reinspection in a reasonable amount of time. The way this was handled was unprofessional, petty, and completely disrespectful of my time. I will absolutely not be going back here, and I would think twice before recommending this place to anyone.

  Got a nail in my tire, only 1000mi on it. Placed an order online to replace. $400, not a cheap tire. I didn’t even ask if they could patch it. Other mechanics have always told me “nope”. After I dropped it off, They called me to inquire on why they were changing it. And then they just patched it. I had been avoiding due to other poor reviews. But they have my business now.

  I had a nail in the tire on my 4wd SUV. Before going there, I wasn't sure if the tires also need to be replaced, which could easily cost me hundreds. The technicians at Sullivan Tire decided that patching was good enough. They did a thorough job and it was done very quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend!
