Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.
Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.
Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

Pete and his crew got me in and out the same day. I went to rotate my mom’s tires and found them horribly worn unevenly with it down to the wire on one of them. BJs didn’t have the tires and they couldn’t get me in same day either. Mavis got me a price cheaper than BJs and had the tires I wanted in stock. They also had the knowledge to explain the cause of this issue which they are able to fix as well. Incredibly grateful for these guys and will definitely be coming back for free tire rotations.

Buyer Beware: The Road Hazard Warranty Math Makes No Sense!
Do not fall for the $15.99 per tire Road Hazard Limited Warranty at Mavis. I paid $64.00 total up front to cover my set of 4 tires, thinking I’d be protected if anything went wrong. When I actually needed to use it for an unrepairable tire, the policy was a complete letdown.
Here is how their "coverage" actually works out in reality:
Minimal Credit: Even with minimal tread wear—where the tire should have been covered almost in full—the warranty calculation resulted in a paltry $44.00 credit toward a $172.00 replacement tire.
Tack-On Fees: On top of the replacement cost, they tacked on $19.99 per tire ($80.00 for the set) just for balancing!
The Initial Math They Tried to Charge Me:
$172.00 (New Tire Price)
Minus $44.00 (Prorated Warranty Credit)
Plus $80.00 (Balancing Fees)
= $208.00 Out of Pocket!
I refused to pay that and managed to negotiate the final bill down to $125.00. But let’s look at the real final cost. I originally paid $176.00 for the tire, plus $15.99 for the warranty. Having to pay another $125.00 to repair it under warranty means I effectively paid $316.99 just to keep a single tire on my car.
Even after fighting to get the price down, this "warranty" barely saved me $50 over walking in off the street with no coverage at all. Save your money upfront and skip the warranty—it's mostly an excuse to hit you with hidden fees later.

Came here in February because I had a flat tire. Because my cars AWD I had to get 4 new tires. I went in wanting michelin brand but the guy told me that the Mavis brand are comparable. 11 miles into having my new tires i ended up with a flat and I was told the extended warranty that I paid for was essentially worthless and I had to pay for a whole new tire. Fast forward to now my tires have less than 5k miles and i just had to replace another one because there was a bulge in one of them. I’ve gone years without needed tires replaced and now I’ve needed 3 in the last 6 months. Needless to say I went somewhere else and decided to get 4 new michelins!
Do not get Mavis brand tires unless you want to be replacing them constantly.

I stopped by here because I had a few hours to wait for an appointment at TFT up the street, and was hoping to be seen sooner. The man working the desk, Nicholas (assisting from the Natick location), was great. I get really anxious in these environments as a woman who doesn’t know anything about cars. There was an issue locating my tire key and both Nick and the gentleman doing repairs were extremely patient and helpful when it came to troubleshooting the situation. I ended up being able to get my tire fixed at a comparable cost as elsewhere, all done before the time of my previously made appointment. I will be back to either location in the future when I need tire or similar services. Thank you!

I had a great experience at Mavis Tires and Brakes on Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury. Pete made the whole tire replacement process smooth and hassle-free. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to make sure everything I needed was taken care of. He made the whole experience easy from start to finish, and the service was quick and efficient. Truly an easy in and out visit. I highly recommend Pete and the team for their excellent customer service.
