I asked them to “rotate the current front tires to the back, and put a new pair on the front” the employee was confused, asked me to elaborate, then proceeded to put new tires on the back and leave the bald front ones where they are. I tried to rotate them myself, and two lug nuts on the rear driver’s side wheel were completely seized. I snapped a socket trying to loosen them. This disgusting oversight and ham-fisted stupidity caused my car to understeer in the rain into a guardrail. Totaled. Do not come here, incompetent and lazy sad excuse for a mechanic should not be touching others’ cars.

This place used to be good; I used to be their regular customer, but now it is full of incompetent people. They cannot even order the right-size tire for you. The orders get canceled, and the tires are sent back without communicating with you. I suggest staying away from this place. They wasted our time.

Mavis is a great place to get tire service. I have had multiple flat tire issues and Mavis has always promptly fixed my tires and had me on my way quickly. The Saugus location on Rt 1 is where I go for all my flat tire issues. I have always been in and out in no time when they have worked on my car. I highly recommend this place. I have never had any bad experience there and they have always provided good service and have always been very professional when I have been in.

I had an amazing experience at Mavis Tires! Jordan was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional from start to finish. He made the whole process easy, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was taken care of. The service was fast, the prices were fair, and my car is driving great. Booked appointment online for 2 tires for 195$ and but then wouldn’t tell me any orices when I went to checkout and said pay in store so I had feeling they were going charge more once I got there , sure enough I called and they told me it be just about $270 even though it only said 195 when I booked appointment so they wanted me to pay 35$ each tire installation after buying tires from them for hundred a piece …. And weren’t going tell me about extra cost until I arrived , I laughed and told them cancel appointment because I knew I can get it done a lot cheaper and closer to me , sure enough hung up and called next tire place that will do everything for 240$ … 3o$ cheaper and it 15 min closer to my house , might been able to find cheaper but I was happy with already being 3o$ lower . Point being is don’t book appointment online with this place becuase who know why it will really cost when you go in and as you can see they seem to be overpriced in general as well
