  Run. I advise not to get service there. This was always my go to place to go to but now, I would never go there for service again. The current team are either crooks or don't know what there doing or both. Not only was this the most horrible experience I had with them a couple of weeks ago and they messed up my car really bad. I went into for a complete oil service, which was a drain, flush, new filter, and full. Also I wanted them to change my air filter. That's all. They kept trying to convince me to do so many other services saying they check this and that. Which I never asked them to do any of those things. My car didn't have a engine light on ever and was driving fine before I went for service. When I left the car didn't feel right but me not knowing and being a woman I brushed it off and went home. Since then I haven't been able to drive my car the oil look like sand,oil, and some blue fluid. They also took off a cap underneath my car that had to do with my coolant so my coolant had poured all out not even making it to my radiator. And they disconnect my windshield washer fluid hose underneath my hood. Only God knows what else they touch because they kept trying to get more money out of me after I paid for the service I went for with tips including. Constantly saying to me I can do this just give 200 and something, or I can do that just give me 300 and something everything they kept saying was hundreds of dollars and I kept saying I only need this service right now and that I just had my car checked out by the shop and everything is good with my car it was even plugged and scanned and that I only came to valoline for those services because it was cheaper and I had a coupon, but they continue to mess with my car anyway. So far I have spent over $500 fixing what they did to my car. People go at your own risk, but advise everyone to not get service at Valoline on American legion highway Boston/ Roslindale MA anytime soon. That team sucks. I wasted a little over $300.00 there a couple of weeks ago.

  I appreciate the friendly staff! That’s the reason for 4 stars. However the wait times are really frustrating. I’ve only come twice and thank goodness I came on a day off, I’ve never spent less than 1.5hr here.

  I had a great experience at Valvoline on American Legion Highway in Roslindale. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and made the entire process quick and stress-free. I really appreciated the honesty and excellent customer service. It’s great to find a place that treats customers with respect and takes pride in their work. I will definitely be returning for future maintenance and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for fast and reliable service.

  They do good work, but be prepared for a long wait and plan to clear your schedule for at least an hour. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. on a Wednesday (not a holiday), and all three service bays were occupied. Each bay had another car waiting behind it, there were about four cars parked waiting to enter, and two more pulled in behind me. I’ve tried stopping by a couple of other times, and it was the same story. I have no complaints about the quality of the service—just know that this location is consistently very busy, so expect a significant wait.

  I went here to just get my air filter replaced. It was fast. They also topped off fuels with out me asking and showed me my oil levels and made sure they were good. Friendly enough. Fair price They didn’t try and sell me anything. Very pleased.
