- TRTabby R6 days ago3.0*This store does not have OBD2 tester!* (contrary to the description of services). I needed to see "check engine" codes, so I was going to call this store, but while looking for the phone number on Google Maps I saw that under "services" (visible only on mobile devices), the store lists OBD2 code checking, I decided to drive here, since previously I bought some parts here. Upon arriving I asked about it a sales person, and with sincere apologies he told me that they don't have a tester, and that I am not the first one who is disappointed like this. Apparently, it is the chain district manager (not even the store manager) who can change the description in Google Maps, but ... Thank you, District Manager, for wasting half an hour of my time, and half a gallon of gas! You are not doing your job! This sales person was helpful in suggesting to go to Auto Zone that has that capability. So: sales personnel: 5*; store/chain management: 1*. Average: 3*.

We managed to jump our car and immediately drove here. We bought the new battery and they helped us replace it free of charge. They even cleaned the corrosion and applied grease. The whole process was extremely easy and quick, less than 10 minutes in and out. THANK YOU Eliud and Amaless for the amazing and professional service. We would definitely come back.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
