- WCwade ChristensenSep 28, 20245.0We contacted the marina to inquire about availability as the weather had taken a turn for the worse. Initially, we planned to stay for just one night, but due to the weather conditions, our stay extended to five nights. Mike and Doug were exceptional hosts. Despite the strong winds, they regularly checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed, and I observed that they were also diligently checking on other boats, regardless of whether the owners were present. At one point, the winds were so severe that a boat drifted in from elsewhere and came to rest on the bank, while the boats on moorings in front of us were continuously shifting. Given the conditions and our boat’s draft, we were unable to exit the marina the same way we had entered, due to the positioning of the moored boats and the high winds. Mike and Doug provided valuable advice, and the next morning, we departed at high tide without any issues, despite the ongoing winds. Their professionalism, assistance, and friendly demeanor were greatly appreciated. The marina itself was well-maintained, with solid infrastructure, which contributed to our positive experience. Our time in Plymouth was enjoyable, and the team at Safe Harbor made it even more so. We will certainly stay here again when we are next in the area. Wade, Lady Gov, Fleming 55
