  Amazing experience, the technician came in a timely manner and install the new windshield most definitely would go again with Safelite

  I had replaced the windshield in Aug and a month and half later, the car had a windshield crack while the car was just sitting in the driveway. When I called for the warranty appointment, they said that there was a impact on the crack that was not there when I first reported the crack and the manager repeatedly closed out the claim without updating me saying that the crack was caused by impact when it was not there. When I called the customer service again, they kept repeating the same statement saying that it was my fault and that the crack was caused by impact when the car was literally sitting in the drive way with no tree above hit the windshield. I would not recommend this company in general.

  Went to get a side window replaced per insurance. Overall appointment went quickly but I noticed some damage to my interior door panel as I was leaving the place. When I went back to ask safelite about this, the technician essentially tried to gaslight me into thinking that the damage was my fault, despite the damaged areas being in places very unlikely to get damaged by normal use. Instead of owning up to even the possibility that they might have caused the damage, they insisted it must be normal wear and tear and that the damage was chemical in nature, maybe due to acid rain, when examination clearly showed it was physical. When they were unable to convince me, they sent me off telling me that someone would reach out. It's been 4 days since then and no one has reached out so I will be pursuing other options starting with a warranty claim on the work done. (Update 8/6) Went in for a scheduled warranty appointment and spoke with Ed who was helpful and gave realistic perspective on the warranty process. 6 days in and am still waiting for a call from the warranty claims office, but will wait a few more days before reaching out again. Separately, realized when trying to charge my car that my J1172 to NACS charging adapter that was in the drivers side door panel cup holder was missing. I think it's almost certain that it went missing during my original repair appointment. Definitely could be an honest mistake here, will reach out to safelite again and update this review with the outcome. An additional note, the fact that it is nearly impossible to get in touch with a real human over the phone let alone correspond with anyone from the specific location I visited outside of going there again in person is frustrating.

  Used Safelite to replace my windshield via insurance and it was so easy. I was told a technician would come to my house between 8 and 12. He came by at about 9 and was finished within maybe 40 minutes (maybe sooner I don’t remember). The windshield looks great. Thanks Javon!

  James our service representative was outstanding. He explained to us every aspect of what he was going to do and about how long it would take. He was neat and efficient. Based on James’s work, we would highly recommend Safelite.
