  Where to begin? I found the car I was looking for online … 2023 Genesis GV70 at this dealership. I went in there …test drove it… price was decent … but I had a few other dealerships to go look at. I finally decided to go back and purchase the one from Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood. I also purchased the extended warranty for peace of mind and they “generously” included my car getting Simonized (interior and exterior). Car was paid for by Monday (in cash, no financing). I patiently waited for a call as to when my vehicle could be picked up. I called the dealership Thursday to which my salesperson (Hisham) said that he didn’t know what was going on with the vehicle. He didn’t know if it was even paid for… Excuse me? $38,000 sale and you don’t know what is going on with the car? He proceeds to then say that he won’t have the car ready and that he needed hours upon hours to get it all set because of the plates … which he was specifically told that we were transferring plates on that prior Saturday when we had initially signed the paperwork. He then said the car would be ready on the upcoming Saturday… well Saturday didn’t work for me as we would not be around. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and requested that it be ready on Friday… his response “that’s my day off”. Not for nothing but what? You just made the EASIEST sale of your career and you can’t have my car ready for me when I’m asking for it? It had been days since I purchased it! My boyfriend called the sales manager who ultimately had our car ready for pick up on Friday. Now I have purchased MANY cars in the past … both brand new and a few years old…. I have never seen a car delivered with the amount of dirt, dust, marks, and sheer laziness on the conditioning department and salesperson end. Oh also… no sticker on the car , they didn’t have time for that …. BUT I paid for the sticker to be done. I can personally say that I will never purchase a vehicle from here again. I have a family member who is actually in the market for a new Volvo and I specifically sent her elsewhere. Overall .. this was an easy transaction for the Salesperson Hisham to make a quick buck off of and yet he seemed less than interested and quite honestly didn’t really know what he was doing. Also to mention … he never returned my phone call initially until my fiance called him multiple times and he finally answered. Kudos to Nico the Sales Manager for getting the car ready to be driven off the lot but come on… the fact that I had to go to another dealership to go and have the car completely re-detailed and CORRECTLY simonized… is absolute nonsense to me.

  I visited this dealership bc they had a pre-owned BMW 7 Series listed that piqued my interest, and I was seriously interested in it as a possible third car. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I walked in, someone was briefly at the front desk, but she walked away shortly after. I waited around 10-15 minutes looking at other cars before anyone acknowledged me. When she returned, I showed her the listing, and she called over a sales representative. He told me the BMW had just sold that morning, which was totally understandable. I then explained that I was still open to looking at other pre-owned vehicles, or really any other vehicles similar. My search was somewhat broad. They had another BMW 5 Series in the pre-owned inventory that I was interested in, and I also would have been open to seeing what else caught my eye, bc I had never really looked at Volvos before. He said he would find someone to help me and then walked away. Another 15-20 minutes passed, and no one came over. I eventually saw him back at his desk working, but no one followed up with me or offered to show me anything. At that point I left. I do not know if it was because I walked in without an appointment, or because I came in during my free time after work wearing shorts and flip-flops, but the situation felt very dismissive. I have never experienced this in BMW and Porsche dealerships before. No customer should not be left waiting that long without basic follow-up.

  We had the unfortunate experience of a car dying on the spot, but had long been looking at the Volvo PHEVs and decided to drop by. Full disclosure: we were a sweaty mess, just in t-shirts and shorts, having just wrestled our car to the Subaru dealership down the street. We stood at the front desk for 4 or 5 minutes while people literally looked at us and then looked away, and neither greeted us nor summoned someone to talk to us. This included a meeting breaking up nearby and people giving us the eye as they went back to their offices. We live near this dealership, but we left and made the drive to Ira Volvo in Rockland (where we were enthusiastically greeted) and bought an XC90 T8. I recommend that other dealership wholeheartedly.

  Came here to buy my pre owned Volvo. Will probably never use them again. Was given the run around about picking up my car saying it was due to my car needing a VIN check because I'm from Rhode Island when in reality they are completely backed up with doing their 360 inspections. Car was not even vacuumed for me. Had to go down to the DMV myself with the sales guy, Will, to register the car. Paid out of pocket for the registration. Was told I would get reimbursement right away. A month later, still haven't received a check. I have texted Will and he has not even bothered to respond to me. I guess customer service only matters when you are trying to make the sale.

  As with any dealership with where Herb Chambers name is on it . Absolutely the best! Zero price games, or inflated values that turn out to be false and misleading. Just a straight forward place you could send your mother too ,and know she wouldn't be taken advantage of. So if want a quality used or New vehicle. Please don't hesitate to go and look around with no pressure tactics. Besides Volvo always get the best and cleanest trades.
