  We had an extremely disappointing experience at Monro Auto Service in Newton. We called ahead to make an appointment and were transferred to the store manager, Marcus. He told us we could come by to have our car repaired. When we arrived, everything changed. Marcus denied speaking with us on the phone and insisted it wasn't him. Instead of trying to resolve the misunderstanding, he became rude and disrespectful. During the interaction, he made comments about our English and told us we didn't know how to speak English. My husband was also insulted and treated with a complete lack of respect. We came in expecting professional customer service and left feeling humiliated and discriminated against. No customer should be treated this way. We will never return and cannot recommend this location.

  I had a great experience at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers. I went in for an oil change and to replace my windshield wipers, and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. The pricing was very reasonable, and they didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. The staff was friendly and got me in and out without a long wait, which made it super convenient. Overall, a smooth, hassle-free experience—I’d definitely come back.

  The service at the Newton location was great. Very friendly, informative and I got my car back quickly. Just need to warn everyone that the people overseas that handle the phone calls before connecting to the location give completely bogus estimates, which they're apparently not allowed to do according to the store manager, so don't listen to what they quote you for and ask the people at the place themselves. I don't feel like it's fair to take stars away because of overseas phone people because the people at the location are awesome.
