    Very disappointing experience with Empire Ford in New Bedford. My 2021 F-150 Limited was in their service department for over 3 weeks for a no-start / battery / electrical issue. Communication throughout the process was poor, updates were inconsistent, and I often felt like I had to chase people down just to find out what was going on. What made it worse is that after finally getting the truck back, a brand new warning appeared immediately that had not been there before: “Reverse Brake Assist Not Available.” When I raised that concern, I was told to bring it back, but they could not even tell me whether I would be charged another diagnostic fee unless they first diagnosed it and decided whether they believed they caused it. That makes no sense, especially after they had already spent weeks taking the truck apart, tracing wiring, repairing a harness, and reprogramming modules. I also picked up the vehicle multiple times down the same issue, told it was "ready for pickup," then unable to start the vehicle in the parking lot only to leave it with service again. This is also not an isolated inconvenience. Since buying this truck new, it has spent over 3 months total in service. I understand not every issue is simple, but the way this dealership handled the situation was frustrating from start to finish. For a high-end truck and a Ford dealership service department, I expected much better communication, better customer support, and more accountability when a new issue appeared immediately after a major repair. I ended up deciding to take the truck to a different Ford dealership because I no longer had confidence in Empire Ford’s service department. Would not recommend based on my experience.

    Sold me a beautiful truck... or so I thought! Engine had a ticking noise, brought in for diagnostic and was informed that a new engine was necessary- factory default. Thankfully, we purchased the extended warranty so we should be good to go.... or so I thought... Over 6 weeks later I still do not have my truck back, and it is a hassle to get any answers from the service department continuously getting the run around. Essentially, I am paying for a vehicle that is in parts in the service department. Frustrated is an understatement! Do NOT do business with Empire Ford of New Bedford unless you enjoy, an unreliable vehicle, unprofessional service and being flat out lied to.

    Nothing to see here. Vehicle had bad exhaust smell upon test drive that they tried to claim was a new manifold “burning off” as if we’re naive enough to believe that. The ensured it would be handled and even signed on it. Despite bringing the car back THREE times, they claim they don’t smell anything. No issues as far as they’re concerned. This pic was after 10 min in the car. Absolute scum of a dealership!!!
