  Unfortunately the bay I got behind was taking extra time but no employees gave a sh-t. Multiple people just pulled in. First come first serve means nothing to them

  I NEED A SOLUTION VALVOLINE!!! You have screwed me over!!! I went to this Valvoline location in July for an oil change. Before bringing my car there, my vehicle was working perfectly fine. I had actually taken it to my mechanic beforehand because I needed to have my AC checked, and I was told that the car was in good standing. The same day I left Valvoline after the oil change, my car began acting strangely whenever I turned it on. It started making a loud cranking noise and would sometimes die immediately after starting. Shortly afterward, my check-engine light came on. I brought the car back to my mechanic, and I was told that the oil/service performed at Valvoline had caused damage to my engine. The cost to replace my engine is now estimated at over $4,000. This is especially concerning because this is not the first time I have experienced a serious issue with my vehicle after service at Valvoline. I spoke with the manager at this location about what happened. He told me that the oil Valvoline put in my car could not damage or affect the engine. However, during the same conversation, he told me that the oil my mechanic had previously put in my car was the wrong oil. He also told me that my car was drivable, despite the fact that it was experiencing serious starting issues and dying when I turned it on. When I asked why these problems suddenly began immediately after my oil change if Valvoline had nothing to do with it, I did not receive a clear explanation. I was also told that my check-engine light had supposedly been on for a long time, which is simply not true. There was no warning light on before I brought my car to Valvoline, and the car was operating normally. I asked the manager to send me everything he told me during our conversation in writing. I still have not received it. I also contacted customer care and requested the notes and audio recording from the investigation, since I was told that these conversations are recorded. Initially, I was told that I would have to go through court to obtain the information. After I said that I would report the matter, I was then told that the notes could be sent to me by email. I am still waiting to receive them. But audio recording, I have to go through court still to obtain it. I am extremely frustrated with how this situation has been handled. I rely on my vehicle to work and make a living, and now I am facing a repair bill of more than $4,000 for an engine replacement. I am financially unable to simply pay for another engine or replace my vehicle, and this situation has put me in an extremely difficult position. What makes this even more upsetting is that this is the second time I have experienced major problems with my vehicle after service at Valvoline. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking Valvoline to take responsibility for investigating what happened, provide me with the documentation from their investigation, and work toward a fair resolution. My car was functioning properly before this oil change, and immediately afterward I began experiencing serious problems. I deserve a proper explanation and a solution.

  I arrived at the location, and all three lines had about the same number of cars. I chose the middle line, not realizing that it would move significantly slower than the other two. I was only there for a quick oil change. While I waited, the lines on both the right and left sides serviced about six cars each, while the middle line I was in serviced only two cars during the same amount of time. I ended up waiting more than an hour to be serviced, and I had no way to leave because there were already three cars behind me. I was very disappointed with how the situation was managed. The two employees working my line appeared to be struggling with the service and were taking considerably longer than the other lanes. For a business that advertises an express oil change service, I believe management should make sure each lane is properly staffed and that customers are not stuck waiting this long because one line is operating much slower than the others. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience and definitely not the quick, express service I expected.
