- GDGil DinizSep 21, 20261.0I called in advanced to have them look up a gasket for me which they confirmed they had in stock. Upon arrival the guy behind the counter had huge difficulty spelling, typing, and understanding what he was looking up. Mind you on the phone when I called it took them about 15 seconds to find the item. Finally he gave up and I was frustrated and asked another woman behind the counter to help she immediately was annoyed that I was asking for help. I went over to her register and she found the item again within 15 seconds. Then I pointed out to her that he needed for the training and she immediately started calling me rude and said did I need it to stay quiet for her to go get my gasket in the back! What an awful experience I would never go there again! Mal trained employees and rude.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
