Elijah Bravo and Suraj were the most helpful and reasonable people I have ever had the chance do business with. I went to town fair tire originally and was met with nothing but angry, rude, and hostile people who informed me I wouldn’t get an appointment until 4:30 P.M… for a simple tire change. I came to Mavis and was greeted by these two gentlemen who not only showed me tire options, prices, and a time frame to get home on time for my shift tonight… but also made sure they made a customer for life by being genuinely kind and helpful in every part of the process. If you are ever in the Everett area, you would be doing yourself a disservice not coming to Mavis at 1920 Revere Beach Parkway. Nothing but the best service and people!

I scheduled an appointment for a tire change/replacement at 10:00 AM and even arrived approximately 20 minutes early. Upon checking in, the front desk employee took quite some time to process my appointment, only to inform me afterward that the estimated wait time would be “a few hours,” which is completely unacceptable for a scheduled appointment. To make matters worse, the mechanic apparently left around 10:20 AM, resulting in an even longer delay while waiting for a replacement mechanic to arrive. This forced me to spend hours waiting on one of the hottest days of the spring alongside my service dog. Fortunately, the waiting area was air-conditioned, but that does not excuse the lack of professionalism and organization. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I previously visited another Mavis location near Milford, where a tire change took only about 20 minutes. At this location, however, the replacement mechanic did not arrive until 11:21 AM. I will say that the replacement mechanic himself was at least kind, professional, and clearly did his best to complete the job as quickly and efficiently as possible once he arrived. The wait beforehand, however, was so excessive that I actually ended up falling asleep in the waiting area. Unfortunately, even after the work was completed, the experience continued to be frustrating. While attempting to pay and finally leave, the employee at the front desk repeatedly stepped away to take calls in the garage area, which caused even more unnecessary delays. This level of service is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future, and I would strongly advise others to do the same. During my time there, I witnessed numerous customers either leave after arriving or walk out due to the delays, which was honestly shocking to see. I do not know who owns or manages this location, but serious improvements need to be made, particularly in staffing reliable mechanics and managing appointments properly. If these issues continue, I can easily see this location losing more customers and potentially struggling to remain open, especially in today’s economy where customer service matters more than ever.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and new tires, and received a call only a few hours later from Wayne to discuss the tires I had chosen being not the best option. He explained my options clearly and listened to my concerns. Once I arrived at the shop, I was taken care of immediately and updated during the process while I waited.

I returned to Mavis when I was told by the dealer I needed two tires replaced due to low tread. I have always had the best possible service from Mavis. This particular time, Wayne took exceptional care of my safety when he indicated one of the tires stated by the dealer for replacement was incorrect and quickly ré-measured and actually showed me the right ones. I’m so glad for his quick and efficient professionalism. Great service! Highly recommend. Entire staff is very courteous and knowledgeable.

Edit Review: changing to 1 star since after cleaning the tires, there is noticeable significant damage to the rims in areas where there shouldn’t be, including the lugnut cap areas. It looks like they took a screw driver to pry them out when I asked them if they had the Audi cap removal tool and they said they did. Also significant damage to the other parts of the rim which are tucked away from the road. Pretty much all four wheels had some damage. Images attached. ——————————————————————————————————— Scheduled an appointment with them to replace 4 tires with the continentals extreme contact 19 inches. Asked if I could see one of the tires first before deciding and couldn’t showed a completely different continental tire. Then asked if they would honor price matching that was stated online before booking the appointment and they said no for those tires. That’s all fine, asked how long it would take, they said 3 hours and would call me when ready. Dropped it off at 12:00, and when it was 4:50 called them to check the current status since I noticed they close at 6:00. And was told it was still not ready, so I kept waiting and never received their call for my vehicle pick up. When it turned 5:50 I called again and they said my vehicle was ready but it takes me 30 min to get to the location so I called a uber and started heading there. They gave me a call telling me that they closed 20 min ago at 6:00 when I was a couple minutes away from their location, and said they wouldn’t wait for me but they said I could pay over the phone and drop my receipt and keys in my vehicle and that’s what I did since I already was almost there. Point is a 3 hour service turned into a 5-6 hour service, and I was never notified of the completion of service. I wish they could work on the communication part with customers. For the quality of work, all four tires seemed new and matched the brand I purchased. The wheels themselves were heavily dirty and they weren’t that dirty after dropping them off. One wheel had a pretty well sized chip which was hard to see with all the dirt and smudges on them. Can’t be too certain the damage was caused by service though, but the excessive dirt was definitely from the service. So I started driving, while on the highway back home, I heard some rattling noises. When I got home I decided to take a closer look at the tires, and noticed that the lugnut plastic covers were very loosely put back on top of the lugnuts, which I believe was causing the rattling issues through the vibrations. So I took them all out and before putting them back in, decided to check the torque of the wheels with a torque wrench , they were all roughly 89-90 ft pounds which is good. I put back the plastic covers, pushing them all the way in this time, and drove my vehicle on the highway again and the rattling was fixed. Other than the excessive dirt and failing to spend the time to put my lugnut covers back in properly, everything else seems fine so far from the service. These are just some of the things I noticed right after the service from picking up my vehicle. Also another tiny thing is , that they just threw my spare tire in the trunk and didn’t put it back in the compartment under the trunk carpet (it wasn’t a big deal but it would have been nice if they spent the extra time to put it back where it was meant to go). But who knows maybe they were just really busy that day and had to rush some of the things I mentioned.
