  Great service. The only issue I had was that I rented at Logan airport because they were the only ones that had the van I wanted. Traffic was insane so I asked the customer service rep if I could return the car at another location and he told me that national was enterprise and I could reach out to an enterprise agent to return it at another location closer to home. When I called they informed me that they are sister businesses but they are not able to take national cars back. I would only be able to return at a national car location and there were none near me. Other than that, the car was reliable and well kept.

  Been a 10 year executive emerald club member. Had my first flat tire. Had a 4 hr 45 min drive and was 1 hr 45 min into ride before getting a flat. Called roadside assistance. They never showed up and told me I’d have to drive backwards 1 hr and 10 min to get a new rental. Asked if they could bring me the car and was told no bc I was inside 50 miles. After changing tire myself put in address where I had to take the rental it was actual 58 miles. Then got a call and was told they would comp me 3 free rental days. That never happened. Exploring new rental car providers.

  I have been a National Car customer for more than 25 years and the service has always been outstanding. The reservation process is easy and efficient. The cars are clean and well-maintained. The process for picking up and dropping off cars is very efficient in every airport from which I have rented. I recently had an airline flight connection cancelled due to weather and had to re-book mid-trip to another city. National made it easy to change my car pick-up location and to modify my contract without extra cost so that I could reach my destination on time. The customer service was truly excellent.

  Here’s the highlights: After a grueling travel day returning from Italy, Dylan’s kindness, professionalism, and efficiency at Logan Airport made all the difference. He had me on the road in minutes and completely restored my faith in customer service. Long version 😂 After an exhausting journey home from Italy filled with airline issues, delays, and a very long flight, Dylan at National Car Rental’s Logan Airport location was the first friendly face I saw when I arrived—and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I entered the rental facility, Dylan greeted me with a warm smile and immediately put me at ease. Rather than making me dig through my bags for paperwork and information after a long day of travel, he graciously helped with my luggage and escorted me directly to the Emerald Club aisle. He made the entire rental process effortless, allowing me to choose from the available vehicles and getting everything handled quickly and efficiently. What stood out most was his professionalism and genuine kindness. He took a moment to ask about my trip, engaged in friendly conversation, and treated me like a valued guest rather than just another customer passing through. Despite how busy travel can be, he remained courteous, personable, and incredibly efficient. Within minutes, Dylan had me settled into a vehicle and on my way home. After a stressful travel day, that level of service made a tremendous difference. He turned what could have been another frustrating part of my journey into one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences of the day. National Car Rental is fortunate to have an employee like Dylan. He represents the very best of customer service, and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves for going above and beyond. Thank you, Dylan, for being the bright spot in a very long travel day.

  I cannot say enough good things about the team at National Car Rental at Logan Airport in Boston. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. In an era where truly personalized customer service feels increasingly rare, the Boston team went above and beyond in a way that was both unexpected and incredibly appreciated. A special thank you to Jari, who noticed that we were struggling with an excessive amount of luggage and trying to make everything fit into our SUV. Without us even asking, she stepped in and offered assistance. She personally helped us find a vehicle that would comfortably accommodate all of our luggage, saving us a great deal of stress and getting our trip off to a perfect start. Her proactive approach, kindness, and willingness to help were genuinely outstanding. The entire rental process was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. The return process was just as seamless, with no surprises, hidden charges, or unexpected fees...exactly how a rental experience should be. We could not be happier with our experience and will absolutely use National Car Rental in Boston again. Highly recommended!
