  The rental process at Boston Logan (BOS) was quick and efficient, but the staff weren't that helpful. I knew what I was doing as a longtime National Emerald/Executive member. So, it was efficient despite them. The first car I checked also didn't have the features I was looking for either. So, it was annoying that I had to switch cars. However, the vehicle I ended up getting was very expensive (~$150/day - high demand weekend maybe?), and several features didn't work properly, including the adaptive cruise control and audio fade/balance system. The sound was stuck full forward and centered and adjustments didn't work. To National's credit, they ultimately provided a 25% discount after I raised the issues, although I had to specifically request it. Overall, decent customer service from Liz, but the vehicle quality and pricing left room for improvement. I still like National better than some of the others though.

  Almost all rentals from National are 5 star. However, this was an exception. I am an Executive level customer and have my pick of vehicles, but the selection was rather limited this week. I needed a vehicle with extra luggage space and the only vehicle availability was a 2004 minivan with 65,000 miles. The compass didn’t work and the transmission was slipping. When we returned they were too busy to even check us out.

  I just recently relocated to RI and have been working through all of the logistics of finding a house and finding a car. My timeline has constantly been shifting and National has been incredibly helpful and consistently placed as one of the very few things I DONT have to worry about while everything else is changing. Taylor (GM) and Grayson (AGM) on separate visits were both INCREDIBLY helpful in extending my rental and making sure I was able to get around while I get my legs under me. I can’t recommend enough just how excellent it’s been to rely on the team at PVD National to get started here.

  I've been using national for years as a business traveler and so far they cater to their customers pretty well. Especially to frequent renters like myself. All major airports thus far tend to accommodate my needs and type of vehicle I need. There are a few that I may have had slight issues with but nothing major to where I had a distaste for National. Keep up the exquisite work..id name a few folks for recognition but that might take a while. Id say Atl, especially BOSTON ( best selection of cars), RDU(Mr Larry) San Antonio (Mr Wolfe) , Dtw. SLC, Hawaii, Denver, Seattle, Tri Cities, Las vegas Etc.....Basically all the major airports and some non major all do excellent work. Keep up the good work!

  Arrived Logan National car rental 9PM on a Tuesday to pick up compact SUV AWD. No National agent in sight and no SUV AWD ready for pick-up. After 10 minutes an agent finally showed up but my car was not ready. Had to wait 20 minutes additional for them to "borrow" an SUV AWD from another agency, have it washed and bring it over for drive-away. Also toll transponder on vehicle did not work, so I had to pay cash for highway tolls in NH, ME, and will be getting additional toll bills for those charges, plus additional processing charges for not using a transponder on Boston toll bridges. WOULD NOT RENT FROM NATIONAL AT LOGAN IN FUTURE. Update: got a partial reply from National to my post but cannot read the entire text of their reply b/c the site used by National to respond to customer comments has a permanent "server error."
