  People friendly Helpful Showed me to my car annd introduced themselves. Asked anything can help with. HUNTER introduced himself when I returned car. Very nice friendly. Wanted make sure everything went ok. I usually used Budget but they didn't have any cars this weekend. Thus used ALAMO this time!!! Now heading out this weekend and weekend after!!! Thank you for great experience.

  Having an amazing experience renting a car in a big city is something highly unexpected! I needed to do some moving for the 10 days I was in town about 30 minutes west of Boston and I was stressed about renting a little truck instead of an average car to get around in. I absolutely loved the little Honda truck the company rented to me. It was in A1 condition & I was able to complete all things on my "move list". Driving out of Boston and back in were simple with the directions they gave me & the employees in the garage were very professional and courteous when I brought the truck back, with plenty of time to catch my flight. All told it was just a very calming experience instead of a crazy stressful one. I will always use Alamo. Thank you everyone there!!

  Had a great experience with Alamo. I picked them specifically because their reviews mentioned significantly better customer service than many of the other rental companies in the building. The employees were friendly, fast, and efficient. They had a good and diverse selection of cars (we picked an SUV). The car was clean and drove well. The pickup and drop off process was fast and super easy. Our car had a funky smell whenever we used the AC, and when I casually mentioned it to the lady at the return counter, she immediately refunded some money as a courtesy. Fantastic service and will definitely return here in the future if I am landing at Logan.

  Pick up and drop off were the simplest and most professional I have experienced in many years of renting cars. At pick up, the attendant helped us choose the car we sought and even helped us load our luggage into it. The woman who accepted our car at return was gracious, friendly, and very professional. We had run into traffic on the way to the airport, so I did not have time to top off the gas tank before returning the car. She was able to get us on our way quickly, made sure we knew the way to the shuttle and was able to tell me almost instantly what the gas charge and our total charge would be. The car we rented, a Toyota Corolla, was in great condition and was perfect for the urban driving we had to do for the weekend.

  I usually avoid renting from big corporate outfits—especially at airports—but I’ve got to admit, Alamo Rent A Car at Boston Logan International Airport changed my mind a bit. First, the big win: no games with pricing. I was quoted $158 for three days, and—miracle of miracles—that’s exactly what I paid when I returned the car. No mystery fees, no last-minute “gotchas.” In 2026, that alone deserves applause. Pickup and drop-off staff were great—friendly, efficient, no nonsense. The actual rental experience was smooth. Now the not-so-great part: on my way out, I asked the customer service desk for directions to find a cab/Lyft. They confidently pointed me the wrong way. Not “a little off”—completely wrong. At an airport like Logan, where the rental car area already feels like a maze designed by someone who hates travelers, that’s… not ideal. And speaking of that—Boston’s rental car center is confusing as hell. The signage is borderline useless, so if you’re not familiar with it, build in extra time or prepare to wander like you’re in an escape room with luggage. Bottom line: great pricing transparency and solid rental experience. Just don’t rely on staff for directions unless you’re feeling adventurous.
