  Generally speaking I've had good experiences with Enterprise but my latest rental was far from perfect. This was due to car needing an exhaust system repair which made car sluggish and noisy. Other than that and somewhat high rental fee for a one day rental it was satisfactory.

  BUYER BEWARE‼️‼️‼️‼️ I booked a reservation at this location, and the total came out to $800 for one week plus a $300 deposit — a total of $1,100. What makes this even worse is that the last vehicle they rented to me had serious brake issues. The brakes were bad for the entire month I had the car. When I returned it, I informed them, and the staff member told me I would receive a discount on my next rental because our safety had been put at risk. Instead of honoring that, they turned around and charged me $1,100 for one week. To make things even more concerning, when I called another Enterprise location, I was quoted $400 for the same one‑week rental with the same $300 deposit. I initially spoke with Carla on the phone, but the person who actually booked my reservation was Hannah and she also asked me what kind of car did I drive and I told her a Mercedes so I think she was trying to take advantage of that. Based on the drastic price difference and the way this situation was handled, it feels like this location is taking advantage of customers financially. Charging $1,100 for five days — for a non‑luxury vehicle — is unreasonable and unacceptable. This experience feels deceptive, and I want others to be aware. Always get your price in writing and compare with other locations before booking here, because what happened to me should not happen to anyone.

  Excellent customer service from the team at Enterprise on Freeport Street. After returning my rental, I realized I had accidentally left some personal belongings in the vehicle. I didn't discover it until I had already returned to Florida. The staff took the time to locate and secure my items, and when I returned to Boston about three weeks later, they had everything ready for me to pick up. Their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help long after the rental was closed were greatly appreciated. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond.
