Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.

Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

Serviced for tire purchase and replacement. I received the car back. All 4 rims were covered in grease/brake fluid. I complained as the car shouldn’t have been returned like that. The excuse was that the technician had grease/brake fluid on his gloves. NOT MY PROBLEM. After an unsatisfactory result in their attempt to clean the rims, the person cleaning walked away. Upon calling customer service to address the issue, I was offered a $35 coupon to Mavis to use within a year…which doesn’t cut it because I’ll never use them again along w $35 doesn’t cut it. Lesson: sometimes the cheapest things end up being the most expensive. After all this, Mavis is crediting me $30 off of my $1700 bill. The problem is that they didn’t get that it’s an issue when you return a car dirty because of your work.

If you need your brakes done right, this is the place to go. I brought my car in to remove and replace the front disc brake pads and rotors, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They used high-quality parts, thoroughly cleaned the assembly, and torqued everything perfectly to spec. The car stops incredibly smoothly now with zero noise. Great customer service, transparent communication, and excellent craftsmanship. I will definitely be back for future maintenance!

Refund Request - Incomplete Alignment Service on Toyota Highlander - To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally request a full refund for the wheel alignment service performed on my [2018] Toyota Highlander at your Mavis location.Upon reviewing the "Current Measurements" on the alignment sheet provided by your technician, I noticed that my vehicle was handed back to me with multiple critical parameters remaining in the RED (out of factory specification):Front Right Camber (-1.6°): This is well outside Toyota's maximum allowable limit of -1.3°.Left Rear Toe (-0.24°) and Total Rear Toe (-0.35°): The rear wheels are pointing outward (Toe Out), which completely contradicts Toyota's specification of a positive Toe (+0.05° to +0.35°).However, your own ExpressAlign printout clearly proves that these numbers are out of compliance. As a professional tire and alignment center, your team should have either properly adjusted the rear factory eccentric bolts (or informed me if they were seized) and offered camber bolts for the front suspension. Delivering a vehicle with a severely misaligned rear toe will cause rapid tire wear, safety issues on wet roads, and financial damage to my new tires.Since the alignment service I paid for was not fully or properly completed, I request a refund for the alignment portion of my bill. I look forward to your prompt response to resolve this matter.
They gave me a discount coupon for the wheel alignment, but the car didn't come out properly aligned. I'm going to take my car to Toyota on my next day off to have the service redone.
You asked me to call. I did, and now they want me to take my car to another shop to have the alignment redone. I don't feel comfortable taking my car back to Mavis. I want a refund for the service and to have the work done by another company. The woman in customer service was very rude; she said they wouldn't issue a refund to my credit card.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience was too bad not to share.
The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and ended up wasting my entire Sunday. I had an appointment at 12:00 PM and was told the tire repair would take around 40–50 minutes. I drove 30 minutes to get there, only to be told that it would take 2 hours before they could even start working on my car and then another hour to complete the repair.
I told them I was fine coming back later, but at least wanted to know what was wrong with my tires. The lady said she would ask someone to take a look. I waited for another hour and when I asked for an update, I was told it would take another hour just to inspect the tires and then another 3 hours before I could get my car back.
When I asked what the point of having an appointment was, her response was that she wasn’t sure who had given me the appointment, even though she could clearly see my name in the system.
Very frustrating experience, poor communication, and even worse customer service. I would strongly discourage others from visiting this location.

had an excellent experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Dedham. I arrived on a Sunday around 2:30 PM after discovering a nail in my rear driver-side tire, and the team took care of me right away.
A special thank you to Jaleel for his outstanding customer service. He was friendly, professional, and made the entire process stress-free. He explained everything clearly and ensured my tire was repaired quickly and safely.
It’s not easy to find such great service, especially on a Sunday afternoon. I truly appreciate the help and will definitely return for any future tire or vehicle needs. Highly recommend this location!
Thank you, Jaleel, and the entire Mavis team!
