I recently purchased a leased vehicle from Kelly Volkswagen, my Sales Associate Peter S. was wonderful throughout the entire process. Volkswagen was so easy to do business with, no high pressure sales leaving you feeling uncomfortable or pressured, just an easy business transaction that was seamless throughout. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Will recommend this dealership any day and looking forward to future business dealings. Thank you!
We had a great experience working with Alex Jones while buying our Volkswagen Tiguan. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of our questions, never made us feel pressured, and made everything simple and stress-free. Alex went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with our decision and that the buying process was as smooth as possible. We truly appreciate his professionalism and excellent customer service. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the right vehicle, I highly recommend asking for Alex Jones!
Josh the salesman was great and very helpful in the vehicle purchasing process. We also had some concern with the brakes condition while test driving and my quick inspection of the rotors of the used car we bought and they changed them free of charge as well after verifying the concern. Everyone was great and very very friendly. Will definitely look at this dealers inventory before any other when looking again. Good people!
My family and I came in to purchase a new car. We spoke with a salesman named Alex Jones, and he shared a valuable piece of advice that stayed with us throughout the entire process: “I’m not here to sell you a car; I’m here to help you buy a car.” Alex truly lived up to his words. He provided us with all the assistance we needed without any high-pressure tactics. Even on his day off, he went above and beyond to deliver the car to us, knowing that we were paying daily rental fees and didn’t want to incur any additional charges. Alex’s exceptional service made a significant difference in our experience. If you’re looking for a positive and hassle-free car-buying experience, I highly recommend asking for Alex Jones. You won’t regret it!

TLDR: We’ve brought our atlas back 4 times in the last year, and every time we’ve brought it back we’ve driven it out of the lot to find that there is something new broken, or that all the work we’ve paid for didn’t resolve the issue we were having (a check engine light related to the evap system). We were frequently told that we would get a callback and wouldn’t hear from anyone, and when we called to get answers we were bounced around to different people who would “leave messages” for the manager who never seemed to be at his desk or call us back. Whenever we were bounced to Wilson in the service department, we knew we weren’t going to get anything but a rude attitude and a dead end. Corporate Volkswagen told us to stop bringing our vehicle here for service and I plan on following that advice.
We started coming to Kelly Volkswagen to have our 2018 atlas serviced in 2023 while our car was still under warranty. Initially, their service was efficient and friendly so we continued to come back. However, in the past 2 years we have had nothing but issues with the service we’ve received. We brought the car in for a check engine light initially. It was an evap system code, so they replaced the canister and purge valve and hoses (totaling about $1600 worth of work). We brought it home and within a week the light was back on.
We brought it back a few months later (we have young children and couldn’t be without a car while school was in session), and they said it was a coolant leak, so they replaced that along with filters and control arms (totaling a little over $4,000 worth of work).
We brought it home and within 2 days the check engine light was back on. It was the evap code again. This time, they couldn’t diagnose it and they had our car for 3 weeks. Eventually they told us that when we go over bumps while driving, it’s jiggling a loose neck from the fuel cap to the fuel tank and it’s all one system so we would have to pay to replace the entire fuel tank (totaling $2,000). We argued with them about how ridiculous this is, especially when we’ve already brought the car in for an evap code and paid $1600 to fix it the first time, they dropped it to $1,500. Imagine our frustration when after 3 weeks we picked our car up, got our carseats and children back in the car just to drive off the lot and find out that our a/c is now completely broken.
We called back and dropped it off again to be told that an internal component in the compressor failed and that needs to be replaced ($2,200 this time). We asked why they didn’t see this when they had it and why an a/c that was fully functioning when we dropped it off is now failing.
Every time we ask why our car seems to come home more broken than when we dropped it off, we’re told “well, cars break down and none of this is out of the ordinary.” It seems to us that if this many problems in such a short amount of time, totaling around $10,000 worth of work in a year, is “ordinary” for this dealership, then either Volkswagens are horrible quality cars or the service department in this dealership is somehow at fault.
We’ve owned many cars over the years and have never had such a horrible experience with a dealership. When I spoke to corporate Volkswagen about all the issues we were having, they even recommended that I stop bringing my car to this dealership and get a second opinion somewhere else. Our car is worse for having gone to this dealership. Our family is out almost $10,000 and has a car that will likely break again soon if Kelly Volkswagen has anything to do with it. We will never be coming back here, and we will never be buying a Volkswagen again.
