- FFFavi (F.M)Aug 25, 20261.0Very disappointing experience with Safelite AutoGlass (specifically the Chicopee location). I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30 AM to have my windshield replaced. I arrived on time expecting everything to be ready, but unfortunately that was not the case. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted or made to feel welcome. I approached the receptionist, and he simply asked, “How can I help you?” I explained that I had a 9:30 appointment, gave him my name, my vehicle information, and my phone number. After looking everything up, he then told me that they didn’t have an order for my windshield. My biggest issue is the lack of communication. If the windshield had never been ordered or wasn’t available, I should have been contacted BEFORE my scheduled appointment. Instead, I took time out of my morning, drove there, and showed up on time only to find out they couldn’t do the job. When I asked what happens from here, I was basically told, “We’ll call you when we have the windshield.” There was no real explanation of what went wrong, no estimated timeframe, and very little effort to make the situation right. I ended up just walking out. Mistakes and delays can happen, but communication and customer service make a huge difference. A simple phone call before my appointment could have prevented me from wasting my time. Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

I love that I have a lifetime warranty on leaks (if they occur) for as long as I own my car. I went to the Memorial Drive in Chicopee, Ma location.
