I purchased this vehicle as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle with the expectation that it would meet the higher standards associated with Acura’s CPO program. Unfortunately, my experience during the approximately 30 days and 1,150 miles that I have owned the vehicle has not met those expectations.
Since taking delivery, I have identified several issues that have required attention. Some of these items have already required repair or replacement by my local Acura dealership, despite the vehicle having been represented as meeting the requirements of the CPO 182-point inspection.
The driver-side puddle light has already required replacement.
The center armrest latch does not properly lock in place and will require replacement.
The rear tailgate glass has a deep scratch that is significant enough to catch a fingernail.
The rear wiper blade insert is worn and flattened, despite the wiper being marked as meeting the inspection standard.
At the time of purchase, the rear bumper had visible damage and areas where paint had been lost. I was advised that this would be addressed with touch-up paint.
The repair that was performed was not of an acceptable quality. The touch-up paint was visibly raised and uneven, with noticeable blobs of paint remaining on the bumper. I subsequently had the touch-up paint professionally removed, the area corrected, and the vehicle detailed elsewhere at my own expense.
I also expressed concerns regarding rock chips after the vehicle had to be driven back and forth between the dealership and the DMV as a result of an unsuccessful registration process. I was provided with two touch-up paint sticks as a courtesy.
When I later brought the vehicle in for detailing and correction of the paint work, I discovered that one of the touch-up paint sticks had already been heavily used and contained very little paint remaining. The swab intended for the clear coat was also broken.
The second touch-up paint stick contained substantially more paint, but it was the incorrect paint code. The vehicle is white, while the paint stick provided was for a silver vehicle.
These are the things I’ve discovered so far. Fortunately, nothing mechanical has raised any concerns yet. However, if I could redo the buying process, I would choose to work with a different dealership.
Miguel was fantastic to work with! From the very beginning, he was helpful, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure I was taken care of. You can tell he really enjoys his job and working with people, and that definitely came through throughout the entire process.
He consistently checked in with me and even stepped in to help when I wasn’t getting the same level of responsiveness from others. He was there from start to finish and truly made the entire car-buying experience a great one.
I highly recommend working with Miguel if you’re looking to buy a car from here!

Desde el primer momento recibí un trato excelente de parte de miguel un chico venezolano . Siempre estuvo dispuesto a responder mis preguntas, tuvo mucha paciencia y nunca me hizo sentir presionada.

The general sales staff overall were professional, patient, nice and understanding. However, they were not knowledgeable on the Acura they were trying to sell. When I asked about certain specifics of the vehicle to three different employees, I received three very different answers each time.
They handed me a report which stated several parts were replaced and “brand new” but when looking at the car, those very same parts were rusted and very clearly not new. Nothing wrong with a used car having used parts, but if an official Acura dealership says it’s new and it’s not, there’s an issue. The same report says the key fob was replaced when again, it clearly was not.
The GM and owner, Bill, came up to me saying they’ll have the service department look at and replace the parts if they “deem it necessary” despite their own report stating the job has already been done when obviously it was not. This is a $33,000 car pre-tax and fees and I’m supposed to just take your word on it after lying about it?
Refer to the picture of one of the “brand new” parts in question. They tried to tell me that’s from sitting in the rain for two weeks …. I’ll leave whoever reads this with that.

Miguel on the sales staff went above and beyond during my sales experience! He addressed every concern I had and even surprised me with a bumper repair when I had agreed to purchase the vehicle as is. Extremely professional from all members of the staff and would recommend purchasing a vehicle here. Also the only Acura dealership with an ice cream machine!! (The best way to celebrate purchasing a car in my opinion)
